1. The Comeback

- Here we go again. - Mike said, looking around.

Hawkins was covered by ashes and smoke. There were dead flowers, dead animals, dead people. The world was slowly dying.

El walked on the dead flowers. She could feel her defeat. She was angry, but also worried. They had to do something now, all of them.

Will was there too, standing next to Mike. Since the group arrived at Hawkins, he could feel Vecna again, now knowing who he is and what he wants. 

Will was trembling, he was cold.

The last time he felt that way was when the mind flayer was chasing him. He wanted to tell Mike right in the moment, but he couldn’t. He was so shocked and scared that he couldn’t even move.

- Will, have you got any clue about this? Do you feel or remember something? - Mike asked. 

But Will didn’t listen. Everything sounded distorted for him. He knew Mike was talking to him, but he couldn’t understand what he said.

- Why are you asking Will? - Joyce said, going by their side.

- When we arrived here, he told me he could feel Vecna again. - Mike answered.

Eleven, Nancy, Jonathan and Hopper heard and turned to see them.

- Will, is that true? Will, are you okay? - Joyce asked, shaking Will expecting for him to answer. 

But he was still standing there, looking at the red, smoky sky around them. He could feel Vecna’s hurt and hear his voice in the middle of the noise.

But he wasn’t in the Upside Down, he wasn’t possessed. He only knew that Vecna was trying to say something, to send a message. 

- What do you want?! - Will asked. But then all the noise suddenly stopped.

He fell down to the grass and Mike held him quickly.

- Will, what happened? Is everything okay? Joyce Asked. 

Will looked around him, breathing fast. It was all silent, so he calmed down.

- It 's him. - Will said. It 's him again.

-It’s okay, we know, it’s okay - Mike replied, still holding Will. - I’m gonna take you home.

-Nobody goes home. To the cabin, now. - Hopper exclaimed, and they all followed him.

A few minutes later, the group arrived at the cabin. Will was quiet, he was really scared. He didn’t want to get possessed again.

- You okay? - Mike asked

- Uh.. yes - Will replied.

- You sure? - Mike insisted.

Will stared at Mike. He gave him all the comfort he needed. Mike put his hand on Will’s shoulder, and before Will could say anything, Steve arrived at the cabin with Robin and Dustin.

- Lucas called. Max is awake. - Steve exclaimed.
