One week later.

Now that Vecna had finally been defeated, Hawkins was returning to normal life.

Joyce and Hopper got their jobs, while Jonathan and Nancy became top reporters for the journal they worked for, because, of course, they could write the best notes on the Upside Down events.

Steve and Robin returned to their jobs at Family Video, while Argyle went back to California.

School started again, now Mike, Will, Lucas, Dustin and El went to the same class.
They could never stop thinking about Max.

As Hawkins was recovering from the apocalyptic month the town had had, school started up again with a new group assignment.

A solidarity project.
Something that improves the town in a positive way.

Obviously, El, Mike, Lucas, Will and Dustin teamed up together. They met at Mike's basement after school.

- I have an idea. - Lucas said

Everyone listened.

And, the truth is, there was no way he could have a better idea.

Thus, the group started working on their project, which they had one more week to finish.

Will sat at a table and started designing some logos and decoration patterns, while Mike, following Nancy's steps, began to write about his project to present the story to the newspapers.

But how could Mike even write a word if he was sitting right next to Will, and could see his incredible drawings?

- I like this one. - He said, pointing to one of the logos.

- You like it? - Will asked.

- Not like. I love it. - Mike replied.

Will blushed, and lowered his gaze.

Mike cut a piece of his paper and wrote some words on it. Then, he handed Will that note under the table.

Will read the note.

"And I love you too"

He blushed and held Mike's hand, gently caressing it.

Lucas noticed.

It was so obvious that anyone could easily notice it, but it was Lucas who was paying attention to them.

- Hey. - He whispered, talking to Dustin and pointing to Mike and Will with his eyes.

Dustin saw the cute scene.

- Those two had been glued to each other for the entire week of vacation. - He whispered.

- Yeah, Mike spent almost every day at my house. - Eleven joined the conversation.

- Mike WHAT? - Both Lucas and Dustin said, surprised.

- He told me he couldn't go out because his parents chastised him for not communicating while on vacation in California. - Lucas whispered, outraged.

- Same here. - Dustin said.

- Well, I don't know why he's lying. Mrs. Wheeler allows him to get out. When he brings chocolates for Will he also brings some for me. - El said

Dustin and Lucas widened their eyes in outrage.

- Chocolates?! - Dustin asked. - I have never got a single piece of candy from him.

- Maybe it’s because Will was sick. - Eleven said, confused.

Lucas rolled his eyes.

- I’m sure it’s something else. - He said.
