At the Wheeler's house

Everyone had already taken a shower and unpacked their stuff. Mike gave Will a big blue T-shirt to sleep.

Mike, Will and Argyle were in the basement.

There was an extra mattress there for Will to sleep on, and Argyle took the couch.

Jonathan and Nancy were going to sleep in Nancy's room.

- Hey Wheeler, do you mind if my hair is still wet and I sleep on your couch now? - Argyle asked, yawning.

- Uhm, no? - Mike replied. - It's okay, do whatever you want.

- Cool, amigo. - Argyle Said.

Will was already lying down, he was really tired, so he was quiet.

- Do you guys mind if I spend the night here with you? I could go to my room, but, I mean, we should stay together. - Mike said

- It's your house, Mike. Why do you even ask? - Will answered.

- Yeah, that 's true. - Mike said with a soft smile.

Will suddenly got up and grabbed a sleeping bag he had brought from California.

- What are you doing? - Mike asked, confused.

- I'll use my sleeping bag so you can sleep on the mattress. - Will replied.

- But it's big enough, we can both sleep on it. - Mike said, a little bit disappointed.

- Yeah, we could. But I don't want to invade your space.- Will answered.

- Invade my space? What are you talking about? Come to sleep, it's comfortable here.- Mike insisted.

- You didn't even want to hug me at the airport a few days ago, Mike. Why would you want to share the bed? - Will asked. He was serious. - It's okay. I'll sleep here. - He added, preparing his sleeping bag.

Mike was speechless. It was like "oh. the airport".

Seemed like it was the first peaceful moment Will had had in days to remember that. He was serious and he seemed tired.

- Uhhhhhh that's true. That was a pretty awkward moment man. - Argyle added.

- Weren't you asleep already? - Mike said, annoyed

- I would be if you guys stopped talking. - Argyle replied and then covered his face with his pillow.

Will grabbed another pillow from the couch and placed his sleeping bag next to Mike's mattress.

- Good night Mike - Will said and then laid down.

Mike was still confused. He knew Will was disappointed because he hadn't given him an answer about the airport situation.

- Night - Mike replied. Then turned the lights off and laid down on the mattress.

He looked to his left. Will was there, sleeping on the floor because he felt like he would be invading Mike's space otherwise.

Will was laying on his left arm, turning his back on Mike.
He was still awake and holding a tear. "Why did I say that?". He thought. He felt like an idiot.

Mike was also thinking about the recent conversation. "Why did I do that?" He thought, and then closed his eyes trying to get some sleep.

(In the next morning at the Wheeler's house)

The guys were now having breakfast at the wheeler's dining room. It was early in the morning.

Mike and Will were quiet.
