Chapter 6: Suspicion

CHAPTER 6:

-Frank's POV-

It was way too quiet around here without Jake and my dogs. It wasn't even Jake that I missed more though. We had been having loads of issues and hadn't had sex in over 3 months. It was starting to get ridiculous.

Now that Gerard was here, I was thankful not to be alone. I ran back to my bedroom to find him sprawled all across my bed, channel surfing.

I ran up and jumped in next to him. I gently put my had to his cheek, catching his tears as they fell.

"Wanna tell me what's wrong?" I asked quietly.

"Mikey and I had a big fight. He accused us of writing for Conventional Weapons behind his back. He screamed in my face and I... I just left."

Just then, my cell rang. I hopped up and grabbed it. It was Ray. I touched the answer button and put it to my ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey Frankie. Have you seen Gerard?" He asked hurriedly.

"Uh yeah he's here. Why? What happened?" I asked.

He sighed heavily. "Mikey was being a douchebag. That's all."

In the background, Mikey yelled, "I heard that!"

"He accused you two of writing songs for CW without the rest of us." From the other end, I heard another heavy sigh.

"What is it, Ray?" I had suspicions that Ray had suspicions about Gerard and I... If that makes sense.

"What's going on with you and him? I mean, he's over there all the time, you two sleep in each other's bunk on tour. We're starting to think this is more than something to get the fangirls going." I was silent, so he continued. "And don't lie. I really need you to be honest with me."

I ran a hand through my hair, contemplating telling him about the kiss earlier today, but decided against it. "It's complicated." I said. "I'm with Jake but he's been weird lately to say the least and he's away a lot. I'm lonely, and we all know how I feel about Gerard. Please don't tell Mikey. It would just cause riffs in the band."

"Ok Frank. I'll have to let you go for now. Mikey's a huge wreck. Tell Gee to come home when he's ready."

"Ok. Bye Ray."

"Bye Frank."

And with that, we hung up and I went back to Gerard.
