CHAPTER 17:

----Frank's POV----

Gerard stood still while we just looked at each other. We didn't speak, and we didn't need to. The silence was filled with all the words we wanted to say, and all the tears we had already cried together.

I wanted to kiss him, this perfect, pale-skinned man holding me, but I didn't think he'd appreciate though. I mean, the guy had just lost his mom and dad. Not exactly the ideal time to try and suck his face. He must've seen me absent-mindedly staring at his lips while drowning in thought, because as soon as I made eye contact with him, he attacked my lips with his. I swear, every time we kissed, fucking fireworks went off in the background like a cliche movie.

We started getting really into kissing each other and Gerard slowly laid down on the living room floor. I was still on top of him as we continued to make-out. Things got pretty heated. Gerard started grinding his junk up into mine. Right in the middle of the fucking living room. He sure was a horny bastard, but he was my horny bastard.

He slipped his hand in the waistband of my pajama pants right as there was a very aggressive knock at my door. I broke the kiss and sat up, annoyed. I was sitting so my package was still in contact with his, until a second knock came. Whoever it was wanted in pretty bad.

Gerard chuckled a bit when he saw the peeved look on my face. He scrunched his face up, exaggerating mine. "It's Mikes and Ray," he said. When I still refused to move, he picked me up gently and placed me on the floor next to him.

I heard the door open and the two men enter. The door was then closed and Mikey and Ray appeared in the living room. I got off the floor and sat in my favorite recliner. Seeing Mikey like this was rough, on me and on everyone. Mikey was usually our rock. Whenever everyone else was bawling, he had his poker face on and was comforting us. I'd only seen him cry once before, and that was right before we shot the Helena video. He didn't even cry when his wife divorced him.

Ray was sitting next to him, and trying not cry himself, although it was obvious he had been crying. Gerard crossed the room quickly and took a seat on my lap. He was crying agian, which made me cry.

He all sat in silence, crying and thinking.

"How did it happen?" I asked Mikey slowly.

He jerked his head up to look at me, with wide eyes. "Car accident. Head on with a drunk driver who was driving on the wrong side of the road." He thought a little. "They said they didn't feel a thing... They said they died instantly." He choked up and brought his knees up to his chest and hugged them. He lowered his head onto them as if it weighed a hundred pounds.

I felt awful. Gerard and Mikey were hurting, and Ray was looking clueless.

What could I do? I felt useless, like so many times before. But it was different this time. I felt useless to the man I loved and his family in their time of need... It had never hurt more to be helpless.
