Beef's Maid Cafe: The Fanfic

Chapter 3: Cleaning Day

Beef wakes up an hour before his alarm rings. Beef gets a surge of energy and determination because he is now the proud owner of a cafe. He gets out of bed ready to start the day. He walks to his closet, opening it. He searches for the right shirt and pulls out a Spider-Man shirt with the spider logo enlarged. He puts on the shirt as well as a pair of basketball shorts.

Beef does his morning routine and goes to the kitchen for a quick breakfast consisting of waffles and strawberries. He eats quickly and puts the plate in the sink, not wanting to wash it now. Beef sits down on his couch, and grabs a piece of paper and a pencil which was conveniently on his coffee table.

"Okay, let's see what things we have to do today..." Beef ponders to himself for a while before writing down errands on the piece of paper. After 5 minutes, he double checks his list and stands up. The list consisted of:
1. Buy cleaning supplies
2. Order a new sign for the cafe
3. Call repairmen to fix some of problems of the cafe
4. Make "Now Hiring" posters

Beef stuffs the paper in his pocket and grabs his apartment keys and the cafe keys and would walk out, getting on the elevator. After getting out of the elevator, Beef glances over at his bike. He decides to walk to his destinations.

Beef walks to a DAISO, which is a store that has a assortment of things, cleaning supplies included. He enters the store and asks a worker where the cleaning supplies were. The worker guides Beef to the supplies and Beef thanks him.

Beef looks around the aisle, and squats down. He spots a window cleaning spray and grabs it. He also grabs a window wiper and a towel. Beef stands back up and checks out with some of the money his parents gave him.  He walks out of the store with his bag of cleaning supplies and checks off "Buy cleaning supplies on his list". Beef realizes that DAISO also sold art supplies so he goes back in to buy art supplies for his "Now Hiring" posters.

Beef walks back out a few minutes later with two bags. He starts walking to his cafe, which was a bit far. "I should've taken my bike huh..." Beef thinks to himself, regretting his decisions. He walked for about 15 minutes and stops at a vending machine. He places the bags down on the floor and would take our spare coins. He looks at the selection of drinks before selecting a cola. It dispenses and Beef takes it out, sitting down on a curb to drink it.

He wipes his sweat as he looks up at the sun. It was summertime in Japan, and it was really hot. He sips his soda and watches the locals. He finishes his soda, throwing it into a trash bin and grabs his bags, standing up, refreshed and ready to continue walking.

—30 minutes later...—

Beef finally arrives at his cafe, taking out the cafe keys and unlocking it. He sets the bags down on the table, and takes out the cleaning supplies. He goes to the cafe's kitchen to get gloves and would get to work on cleaning the windows. He sprays every window, letting it sit for a while and would then wipe it down with the towel he bought.

Beef finishes cleaning the inside windows and would go outside to clean the outside windows. In the middle of cleaning the windows, a middle aged man would approach Beef. "Hey I'm a regular at the cafe and I was wondering why it was closed yesterday and today too. Doesn't it close on the weekends?" The cafe regular would question Beef. Beef finishes the window he was working on and would stand up, facing the regular.

"Yeah uh my parents gave me ownership of the cafe so it'll be closed for a few days for refurbishing and repairs. I hope to see you back here after the repairs are done!" Beef smiles. "Oh okay thank you for clearing that up for me!" The regular would thank Beef and would walk away.

Beef wiped his sweat away as he continued to clean the windows. By the time Beef finished cleaning the windows, it was already the afternoon. "Aw man I didn't even have lunch.." Beef frowned and sat down on a chair in the cafe. "Oh well I guess I'll just eat dinner earlier then" Beef said as he took out his phone. He calls the repairmen and schedules an appointment to have them fix up the cafe.

After Beef gets an appointment, he takes out his list to check his checklist. He checks off "Call repairmen to fix some of problems of the cafe" on the list. He still needed to order a new sign for the cafe and make "Now Hiring" posters. "I can make the Now Hiring posters tonight but I still need to figure out what font and color scheme I want the sign to be so I guess I'll order the sign another day.." Beef thinks to himself.

Beef stands up and cleans up the supplies and puts them in a cabinet. He grabs the art supplies and walks out of the cafe, locking it up. He then goes to 7-11 to buy himself a microwave curry dinner. He didn't feel like walking so he took the train back to his apartment, which he should've done earlier in the day.

He arrives at his apartment, opening the door and walks inside. He places the art supplies on his desk and would go to the kitchen to microwave his curry. After a few minutes, he took the curry out of the microwave and would sit down to eat his curry. He finishes it quickly and would go to his desk.

"Alright, time to start working on the posters." Beef yawned as he got to work on the "Now Hiring" posters. By the time he was finished with them, it was around 12AM. He yawned and shut off the lights, getting in bed, not bothering to shower. Tomorrow is an even bigger day.
