Chenle screamed loudly when Jeno's ball went in the net, making the four other boys close their ears in annoyance. Jaemin laughed and clapped in excitement, but still looking calm as always. "Great job, buddy."

Jisung also smiled and stood up from his seat to go to the toilet. Jeno's eyes followed Jisung's figure until he entered the door to the restroom near the basketball court.

They're not at the school's court. More like a usual hangout place for them. Playing basketball is a must for Jeno every evening. He's the Captain for the school's team for a reason.

Jaemin folded his arms as he sat back on his seat and turned to Renjun who was watching Jeno practicing. "Yuna's not coming?" Renjun shook his head. "Nope." Jaemin nodded.

He looked up at the clear blue sky while smiling. He inhaled the fresh air and closed his eyes, wanting to feel the calmness of the nature and to rest for a while.

Lee Jeno, Na Jaemin, Huang Renjun, Zhong Chenle and the yougest, Park Jisung.

If you don't know them, don't even say that you're from Daewon High School. The five of them are very popular among the students for their looks and academic accept Jeno who's also excellent in sports.

But among these five handsome guys, the students didn't realize that Jeno is slightly different from how he looked outside. People kept saying that he's cold like an ice, but deep down he's just a lost, lonely boy who needs someone to light his dark paths.

That's why he hate people. They judge by how he looked, not by how he felt.

Jaemin is the only place where he could share all his problems. He's close with the other guys, but the only best friend he had was Jaemin. But he knew they were getting more distant as they grew up. And that's why he's getting more colder and colder each day.

"Yah, Lee Jeno! Let's go home!"

Jaemin shouted, making Jeno sigh and took the ball in his arms. He tailed behind Jaemin to the bus stop to wait for his driver. When the car arrived, they entered together.

-

"What's your relationship with her?"

Jaemin turned to the voice and saw Jeno folding his arms while raising his eyebrows. "Jihyun? Why do you even care?..." he spat. "I don't like her." Jeno confessed. Jaemin exhaled a deep breath.

"So? Are you jealous? What are you? Gay??"

He turned forward and wrote something on his notebook. Jeno scoffed . He leaned forward and placed his arms on the table to see what Jaemin was busy writing since morning.

"New librarian candidates?"he muttered out until a name caught his eyes. "Jung Jihyun?" This time, it was loud enough for Jaemin to hear it. "Yes, Mr. Lee. You got a problem?"he spat again.

Jeno sighed and sat on his chair comfortably, waiting for other classmates to arrive. While waiting, he thought about that girl.

Jung Jihyun.

He didn't know why, but he felt some weird feelings inside him from the first time their eyes met. Something about her... just made him hate her and wanted to talk to her at the same time.

He was pissed off when she touched the picture of his mother, but deep down in his heart, he knew he needed to apologize to her. She didn't know anything but he was indeed, harsh.

Things went on like that, until he felt a presence beside him pulling the chair and sat on it. He made a long eye contact with her and noticed that her eyes were shaking.

"C-can i sit here? If you don't mind-"

"Just sit and don't talk to me."he cut her off by standing up and exiting the room. She nodded and rested for a while. After a few minutes, the teacher came in with Jeno tailing behind her with a few other students who just arrived.
