Harry was sent to deliver the Acromantula Venom viles to the potions lab at St. Mungo's after lunch, carrying a package that had 20 small viles that Hagrid had collected last week. Harry was unfocused and nervous all day, the thought of what would happen later was making his brain fuzzy and scattered.
Harry walked down the hallway of the 4th floor of St. Mungo's, still not use to the dead silence that filled the air. The temperature was pleasantly chilly, the smell of Potions getting more noticeable the further he went.
This time there was no note that suggested not to knock or disturb, the door was open slightly.
Harry came in slowly, not wanting to interupt any activities that could be going on. The room was pristine clean with incense burning on the counter, Draco came out in his lab coat, his hair messy with potion stains on his fingers.
"I see you've come to deliver the Acromantula Venom?" Draco pointed his chipped black nails at the package that stuck out of Harry's crossbody bag.
"Yes! It's needs to he signed off on." Harry handed Draco the parchment slip.
Draco walked over to the counter, taking a quill out. "You seem bothered by something Potter." He spoke, dipping the green feathered quill into dark green ink. "Care to share your distress?" He asked, elegantly writing his signature on the slip.
Harry nervously tugged at the strap of his bag, setting the wrapped package down next to Draco. "I'm not sure I can trust you."
Draco unwrapped the tight ropes that kept the wrapping sealed around the viles of the venom. "You swore your loyalty to me, I'm not giving you a choice Potter now spill it, what's on your mind?" He hopped up on the counter, tapping the spot next to him.
Harry hesitated for a moment, slowly walking over. "If any of this gets out to anyone I'll-"
"Just sit down!" Draco tapped more aggressively at the counter next to him. "I won't say anything, who would I even tell???" He crossed his arms.
Harry jumped up, sitting a few feet away. "I am seeing someone."
Draco hooked his finger on Harry's belt loop, pulling him thigh to thigh. "That's better, now who are you seeing? Who's the lucky girl that's caught the eyes of the Savior of the Wizarding World???" He mocked playfully, giving him a kissy face.
"Stop that!" Harry smacked Draco's shoulder with a stir spoon. "All of that is in the past!"
Draco chuckled with a smirk. "Seriously who is she?" He snatched the big wooden spoon from Harry's hand.
Harry blushed, looking off to the side. "Not a girl...I'm gay Malfoy."
Draco's eyes widened dramatically. "You're what? Wait! For how long?!?!"
Harry sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. "Well I knew at the end of the summer after the war ended...but something tells me I've always been that way...I was just too young to realize."
Draco blinked rapidly as he thought back to Harry's rumors that floated around the castle when they were younger. "What about that Cho Chang Witch??? Pansy said you snogged her."
Harry's nose scrunched at the reminder. "Wet and awkward Malfoy, that's a kiss I'd rather forget thanks."
"Gay huh? Never expected that." Draco poked Harry in the side with the end of the spoon. "Who are you dating then?"
