I sat at the table on the terrace looking down in the yard, watching as Sebastian played with Katriana. It was a joy to see the smile on my daughter's face as she ran around, trying to chase her godfather, who was like an uncle to her. Being three years old, she still had little legs, even though she was growing at an inhuman rate. I could see how much my wolf friend adored my little girl, which warmed my heart. He soon picked her up and put her on his shoulders. "Look... There's Mommy and Daddy... Say hi," he said as he assisted her with waving up at us. Waving back, I then turned to see Peter coming up behind to come sit with me.

"He is great with her, isn't he?" Peter stated while smiling down at them. "Yes, he is. How are we ever going to separate the two of them?" I responded jokingly. My dear husband laughed and nodded in understanding. The two of us continued to sit there in peaceful serenity before Nicolae, Victoria, Drogo, and Lorie came outside to join us. "I thought dogs didn't get dizzy. Don't y'all enjoy chasing your tails around, or something like that?" Drogo asked sarcastically. The look of irritation Sebastian gave him after that was hilarious. "You are lucky you're not in school anymore because I would have just given you more homework for saying that to me," he said in response. We laughed again at his comeback remark and then went down to join the three of them in the yard. I smiled happily as I watched everyone having a good time that afternoon. Thinking to myself, I knew I would never get tired of spending time with my family and friends.

A few minutes later, Sebastian stopped running and stared at Katriana. "Peter, Lydia... Everyone, look!" he said as he got our attention, with him raising his voice like he did. Looking at my daughter, I gasped in astonishment, as much as the others did. We all looked at each other then without speaking a word. A moment later, Peter spoke up, having also acknowledged what it was Sebastian was referring to.

Quietly, he said, "Her eyes...."
