chapter 3 - movies with him

this chapter is set 2 years in the future, Kazuha and Y/N are very close friends. Y/N and Kazuha are both in Liyue.

Y/N's POV

WHERE IS MY PHONE? IT'S BEEN RINGING FOR THE PAST TWO MINUTES AND IT'S PISSING ME OFF. WHO IS CALLING ME ANYWAY? 

Oh I'm holding it. 

I answer the call, it's Kazuha. 

"Finally you answered, can you come over to my hotel room? I wanna watch movies and you have the day off, don't you?" he asks. 

"Yeah, I do, I'm on the way." I say, picking up my keys and locking my hotel room behind me. 

His room number is number 14, it's the same floor as mine so I begin to make my way down the corridor. He's stood there at the door waiting for me, leaning against the door frame. He sees me, runs over and drags me into his room. 

Jesus.

I trip over my own feet as we get inside his room just as he turns to look at me. I knock him over as I straddle his thighs by accident. Our faces go bright red. 

"If you wanted to fuck me, you could've just told me that." he says under his breath before laughing it off. 

My face goes even redder. 

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT TO DO YOU IDIOT, I JUST FELL BECAUSE YOU DRAGGED ME OUT OF NOWHERE I DIDN'T MEAN TO FALL ONTO YOU, YOU JUST WENT TOO QUICK AND I TRIPPED ON MY OWN FEET LIKE THE DUMBASS I AM, I'M SORRY I DIDN'T MEA-" he cuts me off by putting his finger against my lips and chuckles. 

"If you didn't want to fuck me, why aren't you moving? hm?" he asks laughing again. 

I quickly gather up my things and get off him, lowering my head in embarrassment. Kazuha however, takes this as an opportunity to kiss my forehead. 

"Don't worry about it dumbass, let's just watch some movies like I said we were going to, yeah?" he says in a comforting tone, leading us to the couch. I nod. 

I sit down next to him, resting my head on his thighs, causing him to let out a grunt-like choke. Funny. 

Kazuha hands me the TV remote and I pick out my favourite movie and put it on. We sit in silence as we watch the movie, his hands eventually finding their way to play with my hair. 

Kazuha's POV

My focus switched from the movie to Y/N's hair. It's really nice. Y/N's eyes drift from the movie to meet mine. I look down at her and smile. She starts to sit up and she stretches her arms. Her head lands on my shoulder this time, the look on her face showing her tiredness. Poor girl is exhausted. 

Within no time, she's asleep on my shoulder, I move over to lay on the couch underneath her, positioning her on top of me, her head resting on my chest as I start to close my eyes too. I don't remember much after that. 

Y/N's POV

I wake up to being on top of Kazuha's chest, him being asleep. Did we both fall asleep? What time is it? Climbing off of him and checking my phone, I realise that it's 7.24pm now, damn, we were out for like 4 hours. I checked my notifications for any possible missed calls or texts. Shit.

hey y/n, i think ur with that friend of urs rn but when ur not busy, can u come to mondstadt and see me again? it's been 2 weeks since i last saw u and i wanna see u again

I let out a silent scream at the thought of seeing my crush again, I haven't seen them in so long and I've been looking for a chance to see them. 

Kazuha looks at my phone over my shoulder and then sighs at the name of the contact. 

"Crush AHH with a few hearts? Really? That's what you call your crush? That's stupid." he scoffs. 

I roll my eyes at his remark. He throws me an apple. 

"Eat that, I ordered us food but it won't be here for a while." he says. 

I nod, taking a bite of the super sweet apple. 

Kazuha takes a seat at the dining table, texting someone on his phone. I walk over and wrap my arms around his neck, resting my chin on his shoulder. I read the texts he's sending, he shows a sign of distaste after each one is sent.

can u come to mondstadt next week? i havent seen u since we were 18, it's been 2 years, we've just been texting and calling this whole time and ur in liyue so it wont even take long to get here.

Kazuha

ofc, anything 4 u, i'll go tmrw if i can <3

"And I'm stupid? You're basically down bad for a girl you haven't seen for 2 years." I complain. 

"Shut up." he rolled his eyes. 

We both looked at the door as someone knocked on it. That was food. Kazuha decided he'd be the one to collect the food, walking past me and grabbing it from the worker, paying him 1000 more mora than he was charged. He's so sweet sometimes. 

Kazuha sat the food down on the table and let me choose what I wanted. I chose my favourite dish, he took the other. We both sat down at the table, eating the food he bought and talking about our day. I quite like Kazuha's company. Today was a good day.
