Chapter 10:Aqualad

Previously  "everything falls apart"

Placing her back on the floor and stood up from the ground then walked straight through the door. There was only one thing going through my mind at this moment he would die no matter what anyone said or tried to save him from me because, in reality, no one can escape me.

I finally made it to the living room where everyone was and there he was sitting on the couch with Conner laughing at the movie. My eyes started turning red, and energy flowing through my hand formed into a circular form.

The movie had finished and everyone turned then dick looked at me with concern in his eyes. He walked up to me but I didn't take my eyes off the murderer in front of me. Dick was in front of me and said, "What's wrong sky?".

I looked straight at the murderer and said, "You killed her".

Dick stared at me and said, "what?".

I looked away from the murderer and faced Grayson then said, "He killed her Grayson".

Grayson looked who I was pointing at and was astounded then said, "you think Aqualad killed amber".

I nodded my head and said, "I know, he killed her and will pay for what he did".

I had enough with the waiting game so I moved past Grayson, He tried stopping me but failed in the attempt. My focus was only on Aqualad and coming closer to him then conner stepped in front of him.

Connor was protecting him from me and said, "we need to think about this sky".

I clenched my jaw and anger was at its tipping point so I said, "Why are you protecting a murderer connor? that's when I know you never really cared about her in the first place".

My powers were fluctuating and everything in the room was floating around then objects started shaking out of place in the living room.

Conner's face saddened and putting his arms in front of him to try to reason with me so he said, "please Skylar, don't make me do this".

I didn't want to do this but I needed to do so with the flick of my wrist and sending him across the room then hitting the wall hard. I heard him shouting out, "Do it now M'gann".Suddenly, M'gann appeared in front of me and placed her hand on my head then said, "sleep".

I knew what she was doing but it didn't work at all then she was surprised that her plan didn't pan out as she had thought. I looked at her and said, "you need to be a lot stronger than that to put me out". she was scared of what I might do to her and placed my hand on her head then said, "sleep".

M'gann dropped down to the floor and placed my focus back on Aqualad but in my head, there was a voice, "kill him, Skylar, he needs to pay for what he did to her".There was my bloodlust but I'm not holding back from it this time. I snapped out of it and moved forward to Aqualad, then thrust my hand forward to his neck. Applying  pressure to his neck with my fingers and looking at him then saying, "I trusted you and you betrayed me by working for the league which I wanna know why you were sneaking out".

He was struggling to say a word but I didn't really care anymore so I was about to snap his neck but someone was speaking and said ,"Let him go Skylar".

I looked over my left shoulder seeing everyone in there suits and Grayson looks at me then said ,"We don't want to use force but if you don't let aqualad go then we will have no choice".

I said ,"None of you could ever defeat me in battle but you can certainly try".

He looks at me with sadness and said ,"Please don't make me do this sky".
