Bruce POV

I didn't dare to tell her the truth about her father.

I felt ashamed and failed because I thought I was protecting her from Ra's al Ghul, but I hurt her.

I didn't expect Oliver to tell at all, but I can't be mad at him when it's my fault that I didn't tell her.

I hope that she can forgive me for this.

Bruce's POV

After Skylar had left the room and was quiet, Oliver spoke up.

Oliver said, "Well, that went great, didn't it, Bruce."

I glared at Oliver and said, "You love this, don't  you."

Oliver smiled and giggled, then said, "How could I not? Because it is your fault that you didn't tell her that Ra's al-Ghul was her father and put her through all that pain over the years."

I responded quickly, saying, "I didn't expect any of this to happen, but I am not the only one to be at fault because I told you to take care of her, and you went back on your word Oliver."

Oliver said, "Beg your pardon? When did I ever promise to take care of that thing of a human being."

I clenched my jaw and said, "That night, when I took her away from Ra's al Ghul and entrusted you with her as an infant, I made it look like she was your child Oliver."

Oliver said, "Oh, that night, you did tell me to take care of her, but how can I love something that wasn't mine in the first place."

I was irritated with his answers and said, "You got to be kidding me, Oliver; how could Felicity do it and not you."

Oliver's face dropped, and his eyes went dark; then he said, "Don't you dare bring her into this."

I said, "I have every right to bring her up because she is the only one who did her job as a parent for Skylar and cared for her."

Oliver started getting pissed and clenched his jaw; Then he said, "Felicity shouldn't have cared or loved that thing of a  person, and that thing killed my wife."

I titled my head, stood up from my chair, and leaned on the table.

I gave him a death stare and was done playing nice with this piece of shit of a human being.

I said, "Skylar didn't kill Felicity, Oliver; you killed her and want to know why? You weren't even a good husband to her and had a horrible relationship with your daughter. All you cared about was being the hero of star city and saving people, but how could you save people and not your own family, to begin with? Explain that to me because it is the most backward shit I have ever seen."

Oliver was silent, and I was prepared for him to rage at any moment.

Oliver inhaled and exhaled, then said calmly, "You keep saying that I was a lousy husband and horrible father, but you forget one key component here. It's you, Bruce, and you want to know why? This could have been avoided if you had just taken her under your wing, but you didn't explain that to me."

I said, "That has nothing to do with this, Oliver."

Oliver said, "It most certainly does because all you would talk about is protecting and saving her from him, but it looks like you didn't at all. Yes, I may have done some things and thought that what I did was wrong, but I'm not the one who made a deal with Ra's al Ghul to somehow turn her into a killing machine at a young age."
