~One week after~
After the whole shit that went down with Jason, and from there, he doesn't come around to the house anymore. I worried about him and tried calling him, but he didn't pick up. I knew he wouldn't pick up, but I thought, "Maybe he would call me back and say it was a cruel prank."But that wasn't the case, and I had to keep moving.
I was sitting in front of the bat computer and finalizing some reports that Bruce gave me. I felt someone coming behind me, pushing the enter button to finish my last piece, then turning my chair around to see Bruce.
I looked at him and said, "What can I help you with, Bruce?." He sighed and pulled up a chair before me, then sat in front of me. I was confused and concerned about what was happening.
He looked at me and said, "The justice league wants you to visit your father, Skylar."
I said, "What?."
He said, "They just want to see if he changed."
I said, "What more do they need to see that he is a bad person and a terrible father?"
He said, "They only want to see if he improved and asked me to come with you ."
There was so much going on in my head that I couldn't process, and the idea of Oliver coming back as my "father" was frightening. That doesn't deserve any redemption for what he did to me and my mother, that is no longer with us. I'm glad Bruce is coming with me for moral support and company in visiting my father.
I got ready, and Bruce was already dressed in his usual black suit; then, I wanted to mimic Bruce's outfit slightly. As always, I changed into a full black suit with a full-sized trench coat and black boots. I put on a silver necklace to stand out and brighten my outfit.

I went downstairs and saw Alfred coming up to me.
Alfred said, "Skylar, Master Bruce is already in the car and is waiting for you."
I said, "Thank you, Alfred."
I was about to walk forward, but he gently touched my right shoulder and said, "No matter how things go with Oliver, Just know that you will always be our family and have a place in our hearts."
I nodded and whispered, "Thank you for that."
He let go of my shoulder, and I walked to the car. I opened the door and stepped into the vehicle. Bruce was beside me, signaling the taxi driver to drive to Arkham Asylum. It was quiet but comfortable quiet, and the Gotham was cloudy and looking like it was about to rain. As we got closer to the asylum, I felt uneasy and uncomfortable.
