HAZEL STYLES

"You really outdid yourself." I can't help but hysterically laugh at my own wedding cake.

It's a three tiered cake but in black handwriting it says, in may I say, the shittiest handwriting. "Congrats horny fucks." It really makes me wonder how much thought went into this cake. I would like to believe they took their time but I'm sure if they did, they'd end in a fight.

Harry slides his hands down my arms to hold the knife with me. He kisses my ear, hiding his laugh and then squeezes my hand, queuing for us to cut the cake. We begin to cut through the tall cake and somehow struggle.

"You're making a right mess of that cake." Liam says, peering over us.

"I'd like to see you do better." Harry mumbles, focused on the cake.

When the knife reaches the bottom of the cake, we draw it out and cut another line down to make a slice.

We then walk behind another wall of the ruins to find the tables that we're going to eat at.

I don't think I've given enough credit for the venue of my wedding. All the walls are built down and flowers and vines cover the cream coloured bricks. All around, there's a good amount of grass, tall and short but in between the lengths of green, there's daisies, lavender and these really pretty pink ones.

But most importantly, peonies.

Harry and I sit around the large circular table in the two biggest seats. The plates are cream just like the walls. Next to the plate is a glass on champagne and in the centre of the table, one peony sits in a glass jar with a ribbon, just like whats in my hair, is tied around it.

I turn my head past Harry as the smell of food wanders through my nostrils and for the first time in a long time, I've excited to eat. Harry's hands dance around under the table until it's comfortable on my thigh and he turns to me a smiles.

"For starters," A waitress says. I know they have a caravan a bit back from where we are for them to cook food, but I haven't actually decided the menu, it was all Harry. "Avocado on toast?" She directs to me and a warm smile replaces my painful one.

She places the toast on the plate in front of me and I thank her. "It'll go cold." Harry notices me wait.

"I know, but I'm waiting for everyone else to get their food." I whisper back.

"Darling, it's your wedding day," Harry squeezes my thigh and I turn to covered food coming our way. "See, they're coming now." He nods his head towards the people serving us.

Everyone else gets their food and so I start to eat. "This takes sick." Liam nudges Niall.

"Fuck off and eat." Niall responds.

We all eat our starters, and like any three course meal, there's the main dinner next. I had a beautiful pasta dish and harry had the same.

Three dings of a wine glass makes all of us turn to Louis. "Yes, this is me sp- Niall shut the fuck up eating so loud, would you?" Louis frowns. "Anyways, Hazel and Harry. You're both my best friends. Hazel, I want to thank you because you've taught Harry more things I could imagine really. Harry, it's okay, I'm not going to say anything, don't want to ruin your wedding day. But Harry, thanks for listening to me, yeah? Like you said beautifully back then, let emotions be emotions."

Louis smiles and sits down, and I want to cry again. It's such a surreal feeling knowing that this day will never happen again. I love these boys so much, I can't even comprehend. In so many ways, these boys have set me free.

"Hold on." I whisper to Harry and excuse myself from the table.

I feel his eyes burn on my back as I leave behind another wall.
