The night sky has fell upon the city of jhansi sooner than we thought and Devyani rested with her baby boy which was cutest by the way,his brown skin and black hair and beautiful brown eyes reminder me of his mother.

Pooja and I cleaned up the rest of the room after the birth, and as we were about to proceed out of the room,a hand grab my arm and look to see Devyani smiling at me with her baby laying on her chest and said"Alia....Shukriya (thank you),if it weren't for you.. my".

"Don't say anything further, for now let's enjoy this happy moment!".Alia uttered with embracing Devyani, her head against Alia chest.

Then Just as silence slept the room,a knock came on the door and someone clearing their throat.
Devyani and Pooja,I both looked up to see the women who ruled laal Mahal with a iron first and a person not to be mess with.Miss Jhanvi step in dressed in a emerald lehenga and gold jewellery from earrings, long chain and bangles that deck up her body, her hair in a bun and her walked which scared almost every girl in the palace but somehow I have grown use to her face that just giving everyone the creeps.

Pooja jumped up and greeted her"Namaste Jhanvi begum".she uttered with fear coming out of her lips.she stared at the three of us and looked at the baby and said"poor thing.....to bad he not a girl other wise..".

"Otherwise what! Huh......clearly you have no sympathy for any of us and still come show your face here..how disgusting!".Alia uttered  looking right in her face, she knew Alia was the only person who would stand up against her and wouldn't allow her to treat or speak badly about the girls.

"So......be greatful that you are still standing here or you would have been thrown out long ago girl but since I have better things to do then arguing with you, both you and Pooja must get dressed for Diwali  and get the palace decorated.it one of our most busiest nights at laal Mahal, all the drunken fools and rich men will visit the brothel and the money will pour in,I smell it already.....money,money...money!". she said with a evil smirk on her lips.

"Our money.....you talking about!".Alia said.

"Devyani....see you later!".Alia said to Devyani and walked with Pooja when she stared at Jhanvi begum with a glare.

......

Later that night,as the stars settled in the sky.Pooja and Alia were finally done dressed with Pooja in a blue lehenga with silver jewellery decking up her body and
Alia in a red lehenga with her hair halved and braided in a plat.they put their makeup on which was the final piece and Raj walked in on them and said"OMG.....hail Goddess Sita and Goddess Laskmi, you both look so beautiful!".Raj uttered while staring at them with his mouth opened.

"Close your mouth or other wise some fly will enter it".Pooja said while laughing seeing him standing at the entrance of the room.

"Come...go back to your room or Jhanvi begum will punish you again like last time!".Alia said going down on her knees and embracing Raj tightly.they pulled away from the embrace and Raj spoke"okay...Alia ma".he replied giving her a kiss on the cheek and ran back to his room.

"He always ends up listening to you,one would say that you his mother and he your son!".Pooja replied looking at Alia.

They left the room and walked down the corridor passing each room on their left and arriving at the main hall which had eight pillars connecting to the top with a round circle shape rooftop which was completely gold and directly shine light on the floor and the pillars covered with long white and black silk curtains that closed the openings between the pillars and that no one could see on the outside or from the inside, the only opening was the one that leads to the entrance of laal Mahal straight to the main hall.

Pooja and I pushed the curtain's aside to see a group of musician's sitting on the right side of the hall and some of the girls sitting in the center putting on their ghungroos(ankle bells) to their feet.we quickly rushed over, not knowing what events will the night might bring us.
