Alia arrived back in the main hall and the party carried on and while Alia scanned the room looking for Pooja,a hand touched her body and she quickly turned around to see Pooja coming out with a young guy from behind the curtain's,who kissed her on the cheek and then walked passed her and Alia.

He turned around and smiled at her and Alia caught the whole moment happening Infront of her and asked"beta(my dear/child)....am I missing something or is there something you not telling me?".Alia asked curiously with giggle between her lips.

"The think is,from time to time....it's best to have lovers in this horrible place......as you just met Dev over there,he actually married but as he said he loves both his wife and me very much!".Pooja said with blowing steam out her mouth.

"Pooja.....how can you,a married man of all".

"I don't care Alia......whether he loves both me and his wife....one thing is for sure a man should never be trusted!".Pooja stated with a serious expression which made Alia laughed.

"Dev...a charming name!".Alia uttered.

"He is.....but tell me how thing's with the prince?".she asked waiting for answer.

Alia looked quiet nervous and trying to hide her smile when a young man walked in once again,in a drunken state.this time, the young suitor was in a white Salwar kameez and tall, light skin with blue eyes and black curly hair that also hang above his eyes like Prince Bajirao.he jewellery consist of two small silver earrings on both left and right ear and a very unique silver chain with a silver piece of the Islamic emblem at the end, indicating he a Muslim.

His body was well built in his massive clothing, specifically his muscles by his arms and chest which stood out making all the girls' turn their faces and admired him but something instantly told at the back of my mind"go...go to him!".

I walked forward and everyone faces turned towards me but Pooja stop me and said"Alia he a Muslim....what will people say!".

"Whether a Muslim or Hindu,we courtesans are also considered bad....don't forget that our profession allows us to do many things when we like it or not!".Alia said and carried on walking which instantly caught the young muslim attention and the people started whispering and gossiping about him which I tried not to imagine myself what they were saying about him and wonder how he must feel being put on the spot.

For centuries, the kingdom of jhansi ruled by the Singh's and under their rule Muslims and Hindus could live amongst each other but hatred had always been a bitter thing between the two religious groups.

I then stood Infront of the him and we looked into each other eyes deeply,I couldn't explain the intense feeling between us and greeted him"Salam alaikum!".I uttered.

"Alaikum Salam!".he greeted back with a low sounded response.

"What bring you into town?".I asked

He looked around not sure what to say but responded"firstly happy Diwali to you and answering your question, what do you think I'm here for?.....you of all people should know, the famous tawaif(courtesan) of jhansi".he scratched into the left pocket of his pants and tossed a bag of coins to the floor which slide behind them while responding to Alia.

Alia immediately felt enraged with seeing the bag being thrown to the floor that reminded her of what she do for a living and a hard slap came across his face that was heard throughout laal Mahal and the people couldn't believe what they were seeing.

"Are you done.......!".Alia asked with a gruesome expression and walked away furious.

The muslim suitor was completely taken by surprise but somehow the slap woke him up and he questioned himself"what just happened and secondly a courtesan slapping a customer, who is this women?".he asked and ended up running after her.

He tried to go behind the curtain's,but Pooja stopped him and said"hey.....mister,next time think before you speak even when you drunk?".she stated.

"Sorry.....but I want to meet her please that all I asked!".he pleaded with Pooja who at first, didn't want to budge but eventually gave in and said"okay.... through the curtain's on your right you can still catch her in the hallway!".she stated.

He smiled and wink at her and disappeared through the silk curtain's.
