The sun was shining in through the windows of the restaurant while the smell of freshly made food lingered in the air. I looked over at the counter where my possibly new boss finished up before walking over to me.

"So, Y/N was it? The papers look fine to me... How soon can you start?" He asked.

"Uhm... I suppose I could start as early as today?" I said, realizing it sounded more like a question, rather than an answer.

"Great! Get yourself an apron from that room over there and you're good to go!" He replied happily while pointing to a room to my right, before walking over to the counter again. My boss seemed like a nice man, but nervousness got the best of me and I struggled to maintain eye contact with him for longer than two seconds. I put on my new, black apron before looking over at the counter. My boss, Mr. Rizzo, gave me a reassuring smile, so I went over to the first table to take an order. At the table was a young woman with beautiful, long, blonde hair and a stylish, pink, feminine dress.

"Hello, may I take your order?" I asked, trying to seem more confident than I was. She looked me up and down, observing me, before opening her mouth to speak.

"Get me a number four." She said rudely, before continuing. "If you can find your way back to the kitchen, that is." She finished off the sentence with a smirk.

I gave a quick nod, holding back all the curse words that wanted to escape my mouth. I figured it wouldn't be the best to get fired on my first day. I made sure the order made its way to the kitchen and took a deep breath. I felt something creep up behind me, and turned around only to be met by my ghostly friend. Ever since I was a kid, I always had this ghost-like woman who only I could see that followed me around. She has beautiful light blue skin, which I think fits her perfectly. It was only recently that I realized she could heal people too, but I rarely ask her to, since it transfers the persons pain onto myself.

"One strawberry cheesecake!" I turned my face to the kitchen once the order got called, and walked back towards the lady. This time, the table next to hers had gotten occupied by five strange-looking men. I didn't think much of it and went to serve the cake to the rude woman.

"Here you go, Miss! I hope you enjoy your meal." I said and began to walk away before she was able to say something. Unfortunately, that wasn't very successful.

"A kid like you shouldn't have your filthy hands so near the food that's served to the people here." She said, louder than necessary.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, but for your information, I am 18. There's also no need to shout." I walked away once again, feeling somewhat satisfied with how I hadn't stayed quiet. I headed over to the new customers, who already had their eyes set on me.

"Hello, may I take your order?" I asked, while taking a look at these strange people. The man closest to me had a black bob-haircut and a white suit. He looked up at me and greeted me with a smile. He was about to order before he was cut off by someone else.

"What do you mean it's not right? I wrote the answer right there!" The voice came from the one who seemed to be the youngest, at least by the looks of it. He has messy, dark hair wrapped up in an orange bandana, along with a dark top with some straps stretching up to a collar around his neck.

The man next to him had blonde hair and a green suit filled with holes, along with a tie. He hit the younger one in the head before complaining about how he doesn't think or something.

"Fugo, you should let Narancia off the hook, at least right now." The man in the white suit interrupted their little fight and nodded towards me, as if he's telling them to behave.

"Whatever, Bucciarati..." The shorter one mumbled. I assumed he was the one called Narancia.

"Very well then... I'd like fou- no five pieces of your famous strawberry cheesecake." The way he quickly cut himself off before changing four to five surprised me a little, since it seemed like he almost jumped when he said it.

I nodded towards the men, two who I still didn't know the names off, and went back to the kitchen to deliver the next orders. While waiting for the cheesecakes, I walked around taking more orders, since the restaurant had become even more crowded. I kept feeling a strange gaze on me wherever I went, but I waved it off as nervousness from my first day.

"Five strawberry cheesecakes!" I went to get the five plates of dessert, carefully balancing them on my arms as I walked back to the men. As I passed the rude lady, I noticed something moving on the floor. Before I could realize it was her foot reaching in front of me, I tripped and the plates went flying across the room. My ghost-looking friend automatically gathered the plates before they could crash onto the ground, pulled me up, and made sure the plates were carefully places on my arms and hand in the same way.

It caught me off guard, that's for sure, but nothing beats the look on the lady who attempted to make me fall. I took a deep breath and turned to the men, who all looking like they'd witnessed a murder.

"Uhm... Here's your-" I was quickly interrupted by Bucciarati, the man in the white suit. "So you're a stand user too, huh?"

"What?" I had no idea what a 'stand user' was, but by the looks of it, it seems like I wasn't the only one who could see my ghost anymore. Bucciarati stood up and helped me set down the plates on the table before pulling out a chair, inviting me to sit at their table.

"Oh- I really shouldn't stop working... It's only my first day, I don't want to make a bad first impression." My voice was more shaky than I wanted it to be, but he once again gave me a reassuring smile.

"Don't worry, I know Mr. Rizzo. Now, let me introduce you to my team. I'm Bruno Bucciarati, and those two are Narancia Ghirga and Pannacotta Fugo." He said while pointing to the two men who argued earlier. Bruno sat on my left side, with Fugo on my right, followed by Narancia, who looked like he was about to say something stupid any second now.

"This, is Leone Abbachio." Bruno continued, talking about the man on his left. He was clearly the largest of the men, with long, lavender-colored hair, a long, black coat and a mean stare. He looked like he would kill me for breathing too loud. I shifted my gaze to the last man at the table, as Bruno introduced him as well.

"That's Guido Mista." This man must've had the worst style of clothing I had ever seen. he has a blue, checkered crop-top with long sleeves, and red pants with black stripes. What's even worse was his hat. it matched with his outfit and had an arrow pointing downwards. I had never seen something so hideous before.

"So, bella signora*, what might your name be?" He asked with a slight smirk appearing on his lips. His personality didn't seem to match his look at all, and his eyes wandered all over my face, like he was taking in every little detail.

"My name is Y/N L/N, but may I ask what's going on?" The confusion in my voice was as clear as day, and Bruno quickly spoke up, taking my eyes off of the man with the ugly hat.

"Tell me, Y/N, what do you know about stands?"
