chapter 11

few weeks later-

"vance where the hell is my backpack i literally just had it." y/n says pacing around the room.
"y/n its on your back and you're worrying too much. everything is going to go fine and if anyone does say anything to you or even looks at you the wrong way i'll beat the shit out of them." i say moving hair out of her face.
she sighs and puts on her shoes
"you're gonna meet my friend,robin i think you guys would get along very well plus me and him are alike with the whole fighting thing so people will know better than to mess with you darling."
i say while putting on my jean vest and adjusting my brown belt.

i hope today goes well and i don't need a reason to clean my knuckles but i can't promise anything. its the first day and people are gonna get on peoples nerves and shit so it wont be no surprise if shit happens.

y/n is wearing blue jeans with a brown belt then a blue button up undershirt with a pink sweater over which is tucked into her jeans. she looks so pretty with her h/c hair down wow.

she catches me staring and kisses my cheek then grabs onto my hand and drags me outside to leave before we're late.

we have to walk everywhere because my dad has the car and my bike is broken which i need to fix at some point but luckily the school is not that far from here so i'm not complaining about having to walk.

while we're walking i'm looking for robin but i don't see him anywhere until i see a big crowd forming in a circle and people cheering "fight" over and over again . "what the fuck?" i hear y/n say and i grip onto her hand and walk over to the crowd, pushing people out the way to see robin and moose arguing.
"you think you're so tough,huh?" i hear moose say "lets find out" robin argues back.
"i will pound you like a nail"
"then do it." "unless you're scared" robin says ready to pounce on him. moose goes in for a punch but robin ducks and moose runs into the pole behind him. robin puts him in a headlock once moose gets back up to attempt to hit robin again. moose gets pinned to the ground and robin throws more punches at him causing him to get a bloody nose.
"shows fucking over people back the fuck up" i say pushing people away to get to robin. robin stopped punching moose and got up to look at who was pushing people away. "vance is that you? holy shit i haven't seen you in forever and ¿Quién es esta linda chica (who is this pretty girl) next to you?." robin says looking up and down at y/n.

fuck. i cant say she's my girlfriend or anything because we haven't made anything official but i don't like the way robin is looking at her right now.

"this is y/n she's been staying at my place for a while. robin gives me a look and shrugs "didn't think you were the type to invite girls to stay at your house pinball vance." robin says chuckling

y/n pov:

you hear people chanting "fight" over and over again and crowding these two boys fighting.
one has brown shoulder length hair and a gray bandana and another kid with shoulder length hair with curly-ish brown hair wearing a zip up jacket. they were arguing at first but then punches were being thrown and the kid with the bandana pinned the other boy to the ground and punched him until he had a bloody nose and didn't have energy to get back up. vance was pushing people out the way with his hand tightly gripping yours.

"vance is that you? holy shit i haven't seen you in forever and ¿Quién es esta linda chica next to you?" the boy says and you cant help but blush. luckily vance doesn't notice but he grips onto your hand tighter probably leaving marks.
you attempt to say something but vance interrupts you "this is y/n and she's been staying at my place for a while." vance says lowly.  the boy shrugs "didn't think you were the type to invite girls to stay at your house pinball vance." vance gives him a glare and rolls his eyes playfully.

"my name is robin nice to meet you preciosa (gorgeous)"

robin says but he doesn't shake your hand probably because of the excessive amount of blood from punching the other kid.
"im gonna go wash this blood off i'll be back see you guys later" he says walking off.

vance loosens his grip and you look at him.
"sorry about him he's a weirdo" vance says looking down at the ground.

robins flirting was completely obvious and you noticed vance getting insecure and nervous.
you sigh
"come on vance lets get this day over with and we can watch a movie or something once we get back home" you say giving him a small smile.

he nods and walks into the school building. sadly you guys have different classes the whole day so you wont see him as much.

you give vance a quick kiss on the cheek before walking away to your class.
you put your backpack into your locker before someone slams the locker right before you put your backpack in. you look up from your locker nervously and see three girls standing in front of you "oh look who we have here" one of the girls say.

fuck this day just started and people are already trying to fuck with me.

"stay away from vance." a different girl says and you roll your eyes.

you feel something wet pour down your shirt and see a brown coffee stain forming onto your pink sweater. "oh no i'm so clumsy my bad" one of the girls say and walks away quickly before any staff see what they did.

you start to tear up but wipe your eyes and fast walk near the bathroom but bump into someone.
"i'm sorry" you say not knowing who you bumped into. "y/n are you okay? what happened?" robin says softly.
thats when your emotions poured out and you start crying.

"you didn't do anything to deserve the hatred from those girls. and why were they telling you to stay away from vance?" you thought to yourself.

robin brings you to the girls bathroom after stopping at his locker grabbing a gray zip up hoodie not caring about anyone seeing him in there.
you start scrubbing your sweater with soap and water but it wasn't coming out.
"hey you can borrow this amor" robin says handing you the jacket he grabbed from his locker. "thank you" you say quietly and walk into one of the stalls.
"hey uhm what happened back there? all i saw was three girls walking away from your direction and then a big coffee stain on your shirt, did they have something to do with that?" robin asks while you're changing out of your shirt.

"yeah well i was trying to put my backpack away until one of them slammed my locker shut then told me to stay away from vance and poured their coffee all over me" you say stuffing the clothes you had before into your backpack.
"what the fuck. god they would be dead if they were boys. i'm sorry that happened to you y/n but you need to stand up for yourself because i can't fight them for you"
you hear as you open the stall and walk out. robin walks over to you and gives you a small hug. you hug back then both of you walk back to your classes.

robin is so nice... why was he so nice to me?
