Chapter 2
The remainder of my weekend was okay. I unpacked more boxes and my room was coming along pretty nicely, for what it was at least.
Monday morning had come around, it was the first day of my new school and I had no idea what to wear. I went through all my clothes and just couldn't find the right outfit.
Should I wear a skirt? No.
A dress? God no, what was I thinking?
Okay. How about my favorite pair of denim bell bottoms, my white cropped Ramones tank, and my favorite pair of black platform boots? Yeah. Add my fringe leather jacket. Bitchin. I wore my hair down with the usual waves and my curtain bangs framing my face and did a black smokey eye.
"Morning," I said to my dad as I walked into the kitchen.
Morning hon, how'd you sleep?" he asked as he laced up his boots.
"Okay." I said back.
"Hungry?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"Not really. My stomach is in knots. I'm kind of nervous about my first day." I said to him as I kept my hand on my stomach.
"You're gonna do great. You're extremely charismatic, you'll find some friends in no time." My dad said to me cheerfully.
His optimism was really annoying me. I'm not as charismatic as I used to be. Neither am I as outgoing as I used to be. Now I just kind of hated everyone and everything.
