Naruto's POV

"Okay so do we know where Orochimaru is?"

"Last I heard he was reported to be near the Land of Rice."

"Alright, then I know where to start."

"And where's that?"

"Around the time of my Chunin exams, a new village called Otogakure sprung up in Rice country, turned out Orochimaru made it. So we should start there."

"And if we find him?"

"...fight him?"

"Kid, how are we gonna beat him."

"I've fought him before, I can handle it."

"We can risk him getting away though. If he sees you, and manages to slip away, the world will find out about you, you'll have a target on your back, and Orochimaru will have ran off to who knows where. We need a thorough plan here."

"Hm. Fine. We should take out Kabuto during this too, he'll be a big threat down the line. If one of takes out Kabuto, then the other handles any backup he has, we should be able to head for Orochimaru. We just need a way to pen him in."

"Got any ideas?"

"I've got one. It's a bit if a one trick works for everything if you fudge it enough type trick. My specialty, shadow clones."

"Clones?"

"I'll have my clones block any entrance possible, while we fight him, and take him down as fast as possible. With all of our eyes, he shouldn't be able to avoid us."

"I'll trust you on this then kid. Head out tomorrow?"

"Yeah"

"Alright."

Jiraiya's POV
"Pervy Sage."

"Hmm.... whattt?"

"We need to go. Now."

"Mmm?"

"Get up, bad stuff, gotta go, fast."

Get up.... mmm no thank you. Bad stuff... usually. Gotta go... fast... nyoooommmm.

"Emergency you dumb old man, get up, we need to leave now."

That sounds serious. Damn. That was a good dream too.

"Alright, alright, I'm getting up."

"Run."

"What?"

"We need to run, take any of our plans, don't leave a trace."

"...alright. Let's go."

"Good."

Jiraiya's POV
"Alright kid, what's going on?"

"We aren't safe yet, wait a minute."

Hmmm... kid what is happening.

Naruto stopped suddenly on a branch.

"He's listening."

"What?"

"Everything we've planned that we said out loud, be knows now. He's been listening."

"Kid who are you talking about?"

"...it's- no good, keep going. Run."

"What is happening? Na-"

"No he's here."

"Who is he? Orochimaru? Some old dead guy? Someone from the Akatsuki?"

"...sort of."

"Helpfull."

"Keep running."

"I am running kid, what does it look like I'm doing."

"He knows. He knows, dammit he knows. How did it go wrong so fast? Dammit.
Wait stop."

"What?"

"He's not here. He's gone."

"Who?"

"...Zetsu."

"Zetsu... the freak who cause most of the problems?"

"White Zetsu, the obnoxious spying half... I used Sage mode a bit ago and I felt him. He's been listening and I don't know for how long. He knows stuff now though and we can't hang around in case people are coming after us."

"Shouldn't we keep moving? If we stop he can catch up again."

"No he's... he's gone. He stopped following us, I can't- I- hang on."

Naruto dropped onto the branch, sitting perfectly still, gathering nature energy. Shortly after the markings indicating a Sage transformation appeared on his face.

He really is something. This young and has Sage mode seemingly mastered.

"He's gone. Really gone. He didn't just fall behind, it's like he was killed."

"Well who would kill him? That Tobi guy?"

"No. If anything he sent him after us, they work together."

"...well, does that mean our plan is safe?"

"Not necessarily, they're like... like mushrooms? There's tons of White Zetsu and they're all connected so odds are, they all know our plan."

"Will the Akatsuki interfere with us?"

"With the parts where we take them down? Absolutely. But the current plan... they don't like Orochimaru, they might let us get away with this. But still, who killed Zetsu for us?"

"We can discuss that later, if you can't even figure it out using Sage mode, there's no reason trying to find out now, let's get going, take out Orochimaru, and get help from the village."

"Yeah, okay Pervy Sage."
