A/N: next chapter is taking a long time to write, so here's a filler chapter while I finish working on that. It wouldn't be Naruto without filler.
Plan to Save the Future

1. Take down Orochimaru
- deal with Kabuto at the same time before he becomes a bigger problem
- gather any info about other labs to bring back to the village
- triple check he's actually dead, he doesn't like to stay dead
- remove any possibility of him coming back (curse marks, other allies, etc.)
2. Alliance with Suna
- get Naruto to connect with Gaara
- meet with the Kazekage (we've got dirt on him if needed)
- if he doesn't agree... well he wasn't there for the old timeline, that can always be arranged again
3. World peace
- form an alliance between nations. Somehow. To be discussed further at a later date.
4. Akatsuki take down
- get Itachi, Pein, and Konan on our side (potentially Obito, to be decided)
- kill Zetsu. Kill all the Zetsu. No more Zetsu. Remove Zetsu. Delete. Cease to exist Zetsu.
- everyone else to be decided later
5. Maintain peace
