Kurama's (Naruto) POV
KN "Hmmmmmm... it's too early... need more sleep...."
Eggs.
KN "Eggs? Sounds yummy. Smells yummy. Smells? Why does it smell like eggs? Food. Need food."
He wandered out of the room he was sleeping in, stumbling straight towards the kitchen.
KN "Eggs."
G "Hm? Who are you? You're not Kakashi."
KN "??? Oh. Um..."
K "Gai, this is my friend, Kurama."
G "Kakashi?! What have you done to Kakashi? He's incapable of getting up before 11am unless there's a mission, and it is exactly 8:07am."
K "I have stuff to do today."
G "No, see, Kakashi doesn't do stuff. Who are you?"
K "Gai you're going to burn the eggs."
G "NO MY EGGS!!!"
KN "I- what? It's too early for this."
K "This is the prime time for Gai's energy, it's part of the reason I stay in bed so late, to escape... this," he gestures to Gai flailing around, trying to salvage the eggs.
KN "I've never been around him this early... he can't even focus on one thing at once."
K "Yeah, it's best to leave him to do his own thing this early, conversations are rarely productive, and more often than not leave you confused. More so than usual."
KN "How should I expect this to go?"
K "Well, once he finishes making breakfast, he'll probably interrogate the both of us in who you are and how the mission went. Then he'll challenge me to something like who can clean up breakfast the fastest. Finally, he'll probably ask us to train with him."
KN "Hm. I mean, training isn't a bad idea. And training with Gai... well nobody would try to ask questions to avoid getting caught up with us, so it might not be a bad idea."
K "Sigh. Then I guess I'll have to join as well. Alright, he's almost done."
