Ch 27

Naruto's POV
KN "Alright so, story time."

K "Oh, yay."

KN "Sarcastic as always."

K "Don't talk like you know me."

KN "I do know you though, you just don't know me."

K "Shut up."

KN "No."

....

KN "Anyways, story time. So, I'm a time traveler as we established earlier. I come from like... 9 years in the future I think? I don't know, I think Naruto is 12 right now. And I'm like 21ish soooo... yeah. Next month, me and my class graduate from the academy and become genin. My team suceeds our test, you're our sensei, and we become team seven."

K "What's the test?"

KN "The bell test."

K "Is that it?"

KN "We failed at first, but we got the point later, and you passed us, because teamwork ya know. Anyways, skip to the Chunin exams, the only thing in between is an A rank mission and some other stuff, but that isn't the most relevant to the future right now. At the Chunin exams, Orochimaru shows up, causes problems because that's all he's good at, and stuff goes bad. He killed the old man, the village is a wreck, and I'm chasing Suna's Jinchuriki, Gaara."

K "This is a surprisingly elaborate story, maybe you should write a book about this."

KN "After this is over, if Pervy Sage wants to write about this, he can. Anyways, that leads to the first step of our plan, take down Orochimaru. It's actually what we were on our way to do until you showed up."

K "You're going to kill a Sannin?"

KN "Yeah. He's kind of a problem if that's not already obvious."

K "No shit, but he's a fricking Sannin, you can't just pull up to one of his secret hideouts and just kill him! Do you expect to win that fight?"

KN "Ummm.... A: I've got Pervy Sage, another Sannin helping me,, and B: I've been fighting Madara Uchiha the last 4 years, I'd say Orochimaru sounds like a nice break right about now."

K "What."

KN "If you want to hear about that, we can keep going with the story, or you can keep questioning my choices."

K "Not much respect for the fact I'm supposedly your sensei."

KN "Yeah, this timeline's Kakashi is still a Sasuke-Uchiha-betraying-the-village-and-you-realizing-you-picked-the-wrong-favorite-student away from my respect. No offense."

K "Okay then."

KN "Great, moving on. After that, Me and Pervy Sage would go off tracking down Granny Tsunade to bring her back to be the next Hokage. Also the Akatsuki would start hunting me a little bit. Itachi Uchiha literally showed up at my door asking me to come with him."

K "Did he knock and say please too?"

KN "Yeah pretty much. Ooh Pervy Sage, add him to the list of people to get on our side."

....

J "Yeah alright."

K "You're not gonna question that?"

J "Nope."

...

KN "Umm... after that Sasuke ran off to Orochimaru. But at this point, Orochimaru shouldn't be a problem anymore so none of this should happen. So the next problem would be the Akatsuki."

K "The Akatsuki?"

J "An S-Rank criminal organization, I'd been looking into them for a while but this kid knows almost everything we need already."

KN "About 3-4 years from now, they start getting really active. They'll go after every Jinchuriki, hunting us down. We need to stop them before they start killing us like that again."

K "If you don't stop them?"

KN "The 4th Great Shinobi War happens, Madara Uchiha comes back, and everyone dies."

K "Is that all..."

...

K "Earlier... you mentioned Obito. Where is he in this?"

...

KN "Obito... is the guy running the Akatsuki. I uh... I'm not a great listener so I don't think I understood the full story but I think somehow he survived after that stuff happened. At least, he survived long enough for Madara to find him, and save him... he tried really hard to come back to you guys but when he was finally able to... he uh, he watched your other teammate die. Then he got into this mindset of just wanting her back, nothing else mattered, so he fed into Madara’s plan of this perfect dream world."

K "A world where Rin would be alive again..."

KN "Yeah."

J "Alright kid, I think that's enough for now, let's leave him be."

KN "Yeah, alright."

A/N I started this story where I was writing 10 chapters ahead of where I was posting, and now we're down to having 1 more complete chapter left because Ch 30 is gonna be a bit longer. Just a warning, there might be  a day or two where yall don't get an update, although I suppose that's something to get used to for when school starts next month.
