Kakashi's POV
J "He's fine."

KN "Is he though!? He's been out for 3 hours now!"

J "He's just being dramatic kid."

KN "Dramatic!? You knocked him out by hitting him with a giant ass stick! You probably gave him brain trauma!"

J "As if you mentioning his dead friend telling you about the mission he died on isn't gonna cause brain trauma?"

KN "...that's a different kind of brain trauma."

...what?...

Jiraiya's lost it.

He genuinely believes this guy can time travel.

He's smarter than that... does he have some kind of plan?

No. He would've clued me in, or gotten me out of here.

Although he did try to make me leave...

There's got to be something else. This guy believes he's a time traveler, or at least wants others to believe that for some reason. He's got to have some plan, and if he needs a cover up plan that bad, he can't be that strong. Jiraiya should be able to take him down no problem. I'm here to help him too now so we can't lose.

But that doesn't make sense. No matter how bad of a cover up it is, he should still have the sense to be careful with the details, and yet he clearly didn't mean to mention Obito's name there. So either he's really stupid or....

Nope, no, absolutely not. This guy isn't a time traveler.

Doesn't matter that he looks just like sensei... and acts like Kushina... and knows stuff that wouldn't be known by the general public or be of value to a spy... or that Master Jiraiya trusts him...

J "Hey you're awake. Sorry about that Kakashi, didn't want you freaking out and attacking us cause this idiot slipped up."

K "So you knocked me out and tied me to a tree? This is comical."

J "Well it doesn't look like I gave you brain damage, you're still your normal sarcastic self. How do you feel?"

K "Like I'm going batshit because I can't think of a single reasonable alternative to what is going on here other than you're both telling the truth."

J "So.... you believe us?"

K "...that's not what I said."

J "But you implied it."

K "Theoretically... if I did believe you... what would happen?"

J "What do you think kid?"

KN "Mmmm... well we'd probably tell you everything, and bring you along to help with our plan."

K "And if I don't believe you?"

KN "We'd knock you out again and drag you along so you don't go snitch on us."

K "Pleasent. Alright then, I will sit here calmly and listen to your ridiculous story, and tell you from there if I believe you. I don't really have a better choice after all."

KN "Works for me ya know!"
