When Kinnick said something, I believed every word. There wasn't much he said I didn't trust. He said getting me to come home wasn't an excuse to end up in bed together, but the moment we made it to the elevator, our hands couldn't stay off one another. He walked us into the living room the second the steel doors separated. My hands steadied against his chest. The feeling of his bare skin against my palm acted as the only remedy I needed to soothe the discomfort. As we breathed in each other's air, our eyes looked into one another as if this were the last time we'd be able to see them.
My fingertips found his jaw as I struggled to find a voice inside of me to encourage the second I pulled his lips to mine. If I lost my eyesight tomorrow, I spent these short few seconds memorizing the look he gave me as our mouths mirrored each other's movements, dancing apart until finally colliding.
Suddenly our lips moving against one another weren't enough. His hands rushed for my body, yanking me closer as his fingertips dragged across the material on my body. Our lips hovered one another as a groan left his lips. He begged to touch my skin, and the clothes that held me prisoner were the only reason he couldn't touch freedom.
"Baby," he growled with desperation as he tugged at my shirt. "This needs to go."
My head moved up and down as I spoke onto his lips. "Then I don't know what's taking you so long to take it off."
I could feel his lips tugging upward, making my stomach ache for him. My nails traveled his bare back, roaming every valley and dipping into every crevice as he gripped the shirt on my body. A gasp left my lips as he ripped the material into two, stripping me free. Within an instant, his mouth fell away from mine, dragging along my cheek as he made his way to my neck. Every kiss on my skin made me whimper. Every soft bite made me melt.
As he backed me into the wall, his hands dropped to my thighs. My legs wrapped around his torso as he steadied us. The moment his body weight rested against me, I felt him. The gasp that left my lips caused him to break apart from my shoulder. My lips parted as I stared into his eyes. When his hips rolled, I felt my eyes roll back at the sensation.
"You like that, huh?" His lips found my ear as he rested his palm next to my head.
"It's not enough," I whimpered. "I need to feel you."
Without hesitation, he gripped me tightly and backed away from the wall. I held tightly onto his shoulders, feeling the scars on his skin as I gently rubbed them with my fingertips. My eyes searched his face, wondering how I could love something so much. I leaned forward, gently pressing a kiss to the scar under his eye as he carried me to the bedroom.
My back hit the comforter below me, swallowing my body with the smell of Kinnick. I didn't have time to breathe before his mouth was on mine, making up for lost time. As he pulled the shorts on my torso off, he managed to keep our lips together. The blue-eyed boxer never stopped surprising me, and as much as I hated surprises, Kinnick made me love them.
Before I could protest what he was doing, his fingers found their way to the lace on my waist. I watched as he curled his hands around the material before snapping it in half. My eyes flickered up to meet his as my lips parted in shock.
"I'll buy you another pair," he mumbled as his face fell to my neck.
"Do you promise to rip those off too?"
I felt his grin grow against my skin. "I'll do whatever you want me to, baby."
Before his fingers could travel between my legs, I gripped his wrist. "No, I need you now."
"Bo -"
"Kinnick, please," I begged with desperation. "I just want to feel you."
Maybe he sensed my desperation, and perhaps it had something to do with wanting to be enough for him after hearing that he slept with Charlie, but either way, I wanted him. As I felt him apply the pressure between my legs that I ached for, he pressed his forehead against mine to make me look at him.
As his hips rolled forward, I felt tears filling my eyes from the sensation only he gave me. My fingers ripped at the comforter as my toes curled into his back. His hands reached to cup my face, determined to hold my gaze as he continued to thrust into me. The pads of his thumbs caressed my cheeks, soothing me as my body fell apart underneath him.
His lips hovered mine, allowing our mouths to brush as he breathed in my moans and begs for more. If we weren't in love, we were making it. May the bedroom be our first chapter, and his bed our plot, but our bodies were the night sky, and this love was written for the stars.
When his forehead fell to my collarbone, my eyes shifted to watch his movements. I stared at his tattooed body, glistening in sweat through fluttering eyes, to see his hips rolling into mine. My lips parted as he continued bringing the pleasure, and I got to watch it all.
Just as I gripped his back, he rocked into me, making my thighs ripple from the impact. My head fell against the pillow, letting my nails rake down his tattoos as he continued meeting my hips with rough thrusts. My teeth latched onto his shoulder as I cried into his skin.
His shaky breath groaned against my collarbone. "Fuck, you feel so good, Bo."
My lip pouted at the sound of his voice near my ear, talking to me in the way I loved so much. "I missed you."
He pressed onto his elbows to stare at me with his blue eyes full of desperation and lust. "I missed you most."
"Prove it then."
His hands slid underneath my body, fingers curling around my shoulders as he gripped me tightly. Without warning, he rocked into me, causing the bed to creak. With every thrust, I felt the air leaving my lungs. The hold he had made it difficult to move away, but I didn't want space. He had me right where he wanted me, and I would only beg for more.
My hands cupped his face to bring his eyes back to mine. The moment his blue eyes met mine, I knew I would allow this man to have me in any way he wanted. When I first met Kinnick, I knew I would do anything to be a part of his life. Some things never change.
Just as my body tensed, his thrusts became heavier. Before I could let go, his mouth was on mine, letting me cry into him as he continued connecting our hips. He wasn't slowing down, and I wouldn't ask him to stop.
My fingers threaded through his hair, feeling the sweat on my fingers as I yanked him closer as if it were possible. While we rode out our highs, I let him breathe my screams of pleasure. Before I knew it, he was gently pulling himself from me. His hands guided me to his chest, allowing me to rest my head as we caught our breaths. As my eyes fluttered shut, his fingertips rubbed circles into my scalp.
"Are you okay? He mumbled into the stillness of the night.
My lips met his chest. "Yes."
"Good."
"What is going to happen to us?"
He hesitated a few moments before muttering to me. "I don't know, but whatever it is, I hope the universe brings us back together."
"The universe?"
"If there is a multi-verse, Bo," he sighed. "I hope we find each other in every one. I hope there is at least one where I don't constantly break your heart or give you reasons to leave. I hope in one of those universes; you'll see that I truly love you and never question it again."
"Do you think it's possible?"
"If it's not, I'll spend the rest of my life trying to get it right."
"Somehow, I always end up with you, Kinnick," I mumbled. "I don't think that's a coincidence."
"If the universe is an author, it created you just for me. Our love story would be too beautiful to end. So, it continued writing different versions to keep us alive. No matter what plot tries to break us, we will always come back to each other."
