Students trained in the ruins of Kamar-Taj, including one America Chavez, now learning the Mystic Arts. Wong and Doctor Strange walked through the lineup of sorcerers.

'How is this so much harder than a multiversal portal?' America exclaimed in frustration.

'She needs to slow down and be more patient,' Stephen said.

'Reminds me of another student I knew.' They walked up, and Wong spoke again. 'You feeling alright?'

'Yeah. Why?' He turned to him.

'You used the Darkhold to dreamwalk into your own corpse.' Stephen let a small smile loose.

'Oh, right. That. Fine. Fine.' The two turned back to the group. 'But I do want to ask you something,' Stephen said. 'Are you happy?'

'That's an... interesting question,' Wong replied.

'You'd think that saving the world would get you there, but... It doesn't.'

'Sometimes, I do wonder about my other lives,' Wong replied. 'Yet I remain grateful in this one.'

'Even with its tribulations. At least we don't have to go through it alone, huh?' Stephen asked.

'No, we don't,' Wong replied. Stephen clasped his hands and bowed slowly. Wong, seeming satisfied with the gesture, turned and walked away. As Strange was about to walk through the sling ring portal, America called out to him.

'Wait!' She jogged up the steps. 'Sup.'

'Sup,' he replied back.

'I made some sparks,' she said with a nervous smile.

'Great,' he replied softly. 'Your parents would be proud. I hope you'll get to show them one day.' He went to walk through, but she called out.

'Stephen.' He turned again. 'I'm glad I fell into your universe.' He smiled.

'So am I, kid. So am I.' He stepped through, and the portal closed.
