Bagel bites pt. 2

Y/n's Pov:

I stay still. I don't know what to do. Do I talk to him? I lied to him too.

He visited when I was sick

He found out and didn't tell me. I must have been a misunderstanding right?

He knew

I know he would never intentionally hurt me, but why does it still feel like he wanted to keep it from me? Why do I feel a sense of betrayal when I did the same thing? Why does the voice in my head tell me that he wanted to hurt me and I was nothing to him?

"Wake up!" The human slaps Hunter across the face. Hunter wakes up started and agitated.

"Ahh! What?" He sees the human in front of him. "You!"

She slaps her hand over Hunter's face. "Shhh. Listen. You are a bad person and I do not like you, but Kikimora is trying to kill you and unfortunately I'm too nice to let that happen." She pulls her hand away in an instant "Ewughh are you licking my hand? I'm trying to help you!"

"Why should I believe you?" He snaps back

"Becau-" they both start to push each other but stop as soon as they started when they hear a growl from Kiki's finger dragon. It stomps in and those two immediately get up and rush to get away.

Hunter starts to walk in the direction of Latissa, The human trails behind and I'd rather walk next to her right now.

"Oooh Kikimora must hate you" The Human says. Hunter doesn't answer, he just keeps walking. "Woah, I haven't been outside bones borough that much. Latissa is so cool!" Hunter turns the other way "Wait!"

Hunter proceeds to ignore The human and me and picks up his pace. If I think about it I don't think he's even acknowledged me since we crashed. Does he even see me here?

"Where are you going?" The human and I try to catch up to him. "Hey guys, I just saved both of your lives, the least you could do is tell me your names." Hunter looks back at her both angry and confused. His gaze turns to me and he raises his eyebrows slightly. He takes a hold of my hand and makes it so I'm walking next to him now.

"Where were you? I didn't see you earlier." He whispers so the the Human can't hear.

"I was here the whole time. You were the one who told me to come with you tonight Golden Guard"I say back. I let go of his hand.

We reach a police station with scouts surrounding it. "Scouts. Direct me to your communications room. We need to contact the castle immediately." He pulls down his glove to show his sigil and I do the same.

"Cute. I didn't know kids your age were still into temporary tattoos." One of the scouts says

"Yeah, show us you badge number." The other scout demands while examining our tattoos.

Hunter pulls his glove back up. "I am your superior, and I can prove it." He turns to the human and opens his hand "Staff"

The human hides the staff behind her back. "Isn't it a little late for you kids to be outside?" The scout said.

"Yeah go home before we call your parents" Another scout said. And just like that the scouts walked away.

Hunter starts to chase after the human for his staff. I'm not really sure where my staff is. Those two push past people and knock things over. The knock over so many things that I'm wondering if it's on purpose at this point. While they run at full speed I kinda just half-jog behind them.
