HARLEY'S P.O.V

"So, she really is your mate?" Harry whispered, glancing between the both of us. I cringed, blinking my eyes rapidly. Maybe if I did, all of this stupid dream would end.

This can't be real. Vampires; a myth that I was told existed as a child. One that I was scared would pop into my room at night. Not the one who was your college peer who also happened to live with four other vampires who wouldn't to drink you dry, then find out that your 'college peer' vampire was your mate.

"I am not! I am definitely not that bastard's mate!" I spat, glaring at all of them.

"Vampires aren't real, vampires aren't real, vampires aren't real.." I whispered ot myself, squeezing my eyes. Not real, not real, not real.

I heard one of them scoff, proving that indeed they were real. No, no, no...

When I open my eyes, they'll be gone. Wrong. My eyes started to hurt, and sting from squeezing them so tightly. I glanced around, there perfect but pale faces facing me. I was alone, and they could kill me; any second now and they would. Zard? No that wasn't his name. Zayn? Yeah, he was staring at me like I was the devil. When in reality, he was the devil in this situation.

"Harley, just stay where you are. Please." He said, not making any contact with me. He hustled out the door, grabbing Harry by his collar. I felt like this would be a time where I would laugh, but laughing wasn't going to be happening any time soon, at least from me. I just wanted to run, to run out of the place and forget about all of it. But, judging by the hard stares I was receiving from the rets of them, I would not be leaving any time soon. I wouldn't see Dayla's face light up as she picked up a book, or the smell of Victor's chili cooking. They were gone, I'm dead.

"Lucky Lou. I'm the Irish one, yet he gets the beauty." I heard the blonde one mumble, glancing at me. I glared back, desperately wanting to just knock him out. But apparently there vampires, so I would have no chance. Might as well give it a shot, I thought.

"Just shut up, you got that leprechaun?" I rolled my eyes, and I really was testing myself- what with 5 hungry vampires staring at me like the main course. They continued to stare at me, there eyes searching me up and down. Why didn't they just kill me. It'd be better for the lot of us.

"Kill me and get it over with." I muttered, leaning against the wall, next to where Harry had gone through it. What they were talking about, I didn't know. But it was costing me seconds of the little piece of life I had left.

"You want us to kill you?" The other, kinder one said. If it's possible for a vampire to be kind.

"Well you're going to do it sooner or later, why wait?" I questioned, looking up into his crimson eyes. I think I recall his name being Liam.

"If we wanted to, we can't touch you now.." Zayn sighed, his hands fumbling with the hem of his shirt.

"Why?" I questioned further, wondering why the hell they couldn't just kill me. As soon as I did, two figures swiftly made their way back into the living room. Harry had a grim face, while Louis was staring at me intently. I wanted to shy away, as just the morning I couldn't get my eyes away from him. He seemed even more luring now that I knew he was, dangerous.

"What are we going to do with her?" Niall, the blond one asked. He peered at me again, smirking as he did.

"She's human, she knows about us. But she's your er, mate." Liam suggested, motioning between Louis and I.

"She's not getting killed." Louis corrected, glaring at Liam.

"Okay, we know that. Lad, I think we should let you decide what to do with her." And with that, Liam was out of the room in less than seconds, followed by Niall, Harry, and Zayn. The only people left were me. Louis doesn't count.
