HARLEY's P.O.V
I couldn't fall asleep.
After Louis had dissed me, which I oddly didn't like, I had decided to just sleep in the room that apparently was mine. Maybe, if I slept more, reality wouldn't be too bad. But I guess sleep didn't want me, so I laid in bed even though I got more than a few knocks on the door.
My head leaned over, and I saw that outside it had grown dark. There was snow up against the window, but I see Louis had made his rounds and put locks on all the windows. I groaned, turning over into the pillow. Suddenly, I heard a few voices. They were kind of mumbled, but I could hear some of it.
"... you're just going to keep her, a human?" A voice I hadn't heard yet, one that was quite feminine to say the least.
"For now, I'm sure there's not a problem." I could hear Liam's calming tone.
"You understand that if you do, not only me but others will come. Some that can't stand the fact you have... food with you." The woman was cut off harshly.
"She is not, food. We've already cleared this up." Clearly Louis, with his monotone voice had said that. He was defending me, for all I've caused he was defending me. Just, maybe he was a nice guy.
I crept out of the bed, and I knew if I made any false steps that caused even a little noise they would know I was awake. Or they did know I was awake and honestly didn't care at the moment. I placed my ear up against the door, and listened in even though the voices had stopped talking. A frown formed on my face, and I pressed my ear closer to the door slipping my hand onto the door knob for support. Ha, false move.
I fell forwards after the door, into the hallway, face first into the wooden floors.
"See? She'll kill herself with that clumsiness." I heard the female voice say, and I groaned heavily while getting up slowly. There was the whole lot of them, except for Niall. Opposite of them was a tall woman, with long, thick strands of blond covering her back. She was smirking at me, and she had those vivid red eyes, too.She looked terrifying with leather boots, and cut shorts.
"What are you guys talking about?" I straightened out my clothes, and she scoffed.
"You've got quite the nerve to be talking, human." She laughed slightly, before holding her hand out to me. "Lily." She raised her head at me, raising an eyebrow. I looked down at her hand, hoping to burn it with fire until she moved it.
"Harley. But I bet you already knew that." I spat, before crossing my arms. My eyes wandered over to Louis, and he was smiling at me. I bit my lip slightly, looking to the ground for some kind of help.
"Right. You better worship your blessings, Harley." She looked at me with squinting eyes, before facing the boys again.
"I'll expecting her to be changed, or you know what will happen. Your choice." With that, she sped past me, barely knocking me off my feet and heading for what I assumed to be the exit with her flawless figure.
She was one hell of stupid, arrogant, full of herself bit-
"Glad to see you out of bed." Zayn chuckled, steadying himself next to the wall. I had only noticed now, that he was dressed in a leather jacket and dark clothes, with only a white undershirt. It was, kind of the guy I would go for looks.
"Glad to see that you have something to tell me." I raised an eyebrow, re-crossing my arms and leaning on my left. It was silent for a few seconds before Liam spoke up.
"How about we get you some tea, yeah? Then we'll tell you. You haven't eaten in forever, too I'm guessing." His tone was calming, inviting, and happy as he smiled. It was a weird mix, for someone to be that kind and caring sounding while their red eyes were repulsing.
