HARLEY'S P.O.V
I didn't know what was wrong with me, if it was a wrong thing to think you might have fallen for a vampire. Or maybe what was wrong with me, was the fact that I can't stop thinking about him. Even when I can't fall asleep at night.
I had dinner with Louis, although he claimed he didn't like human food as much but ate some of mine anyways. I found it odd, because Niall usually was eating something every time I looked over. It was kind of weird, all of this happening. I couldn't deny myself that I did feel something there for Louis, but was it this thing called love?
Maybe I should just go back to being tough, that seemed more understandable. But yet here I was, my mind never escaping his image.
A sudden sound, something so light that if you weren't as quite as a mouse you wouldn't here it. It was the sound of a door shutting, lightly, but it was still noticeable. I clicked my head towards the alarm clock, seeing it was pass twelve at night. I frowned, slightly. To any normal person it wouldn't be anything to care about. That's correct, I shouldn't care. But, I found it odd and weird for some reason, like a tiny voice in my head saying to check it out.
Then again, everything happening to me wasn't normal. Curiosity got the best of me, I guess.
I tiptoed out of the soft covers, and turned the knob as slow as possible. Remembering the last time I tried this, I avoided leaning against anything as I peaked down the corridor. It was silent in the house, then a small tap was heard in the living room. Someone was out there, and I guess that I really didn't care now if I was caught.
When I finally came to the corner, the one that would lead me to the living room, I froze.
"I know you're there, babe." I sighed, knowing exactly who it was. I came from my hiding place to see a smirking Harry.
"Don't call me that." I stated roughly, joining him from the opposite side of the couch. He chuckled, before coming to sit beside me at unpredictable speed. I groaned, feeling his cold skin close to mine. My legs instantly got up, going to the other single chair. He still had that smirk, which was kind of annoying to see.
"You're tense." He chuckled, before pulling his knee up and staring at me.
"You're annoying, stop smirking." I ran a hand through my wavy red locks, leaning my head back.
"Sorry, love. It's funny watching you. I wouldn't be here if I had it my way." He got quiet near the end, and I questioned it. What did he mean by that.
"What?" I retorted, resting my head on my own hand, a sure puzzled expression on my face.
"Listen, why don't you go back to bed and make my job easier. It's hard enough having a human in your house rather a mere 1 or 2 meters away from you." He finished, furrowing his eyebrows at me, his smirk disappearing. So it was his job, but what was. I didn't answer for a moment, contemplating ideas.
"Where are the guys?" I asked another question, not saying anything to his last words.
"Out. None of your business." He was being rude and pushy, not breaking a word about the topic at hand. He tousled his curls to the side, before biting his lips. He was attractive, but not very much my taste, with that attitude of course.
"Fine. I'll go out, my where abouts none of your business." If I could play at this game, I would. So I got up, even though I was in some loaned sweatpants and a grey t-shirt, and headed for the door. I knew he would stop me, and he did.
"Listen sweetheart, get the hell back to sleep. You're causing trouble. I had a keen interest for you when I saw you on the street, and I can make that happen again." He certainly was threatening me, but I could give less shit.
