HARLEY'S P.O.V
After managing to get out of bed, putting on some fresh clean clothes that I've been dying to have, consisting of a borrowed black hoodie, some clothes they had gotten for me such as plain white tanks and ripped skinnies, and also some borrowed converse. It was weird, that Louis and I had the same foot size. But it worked out well, anyways. I glanced at myself in the mirror, and I looked drained. Okay, that wasn't intended. But I looked physically drained, with small bags underneath my eyes and paler than usual skin. My hair was as usual, a fiery red that cascaded in a knotted way down my shoulders, and I looked everywhere until I finally found a brush and desperately tried to get the knots out.
Once I looked somewhat presentable, I left the bathroom to only be met with Louis standing, waiting for me.
"Creep." I laughed, joking with him.
"Slowpoke." He poked my shoulder, a small smile resting on his lips.
"Vampire." I interjected, as we walked towards the kitchen.
"Mm, human." He shot back, raising his eyebrow towards me.
"Er, male." I laughed, and he just shook his head as I sat down on one of the many stools surrounding the isle.
"Female." He said after a moment of rummaging through the pantry.
"What are we even doing?" I asked, and he laughed turning back to face me. He had a bowl in one hand, and a box of Captain Crunch in the other. I had to admit, I liked being happy. I liked not being a bitch basically all the time.
"No Idea darling, you started it." He started moving too quickly for me to adjust too, but after about ten seconds a bowl was sitting in front of me with cereal and milk filling it to the top, a spoon on the side. I was kind of blown away at the speed, I wasn't used to this. How was anyone, who grew up with considered normal people, supposed to get used to a vampire? Especially one like Louis.
"That was fast." I commented casually, already scooping a spoonful into my mouth.
"Really? I honestly didn't even notice." He joked sarcastically, leaning down against the isle, opposite of me.
"Oh you're so smart then, aren't you?" I said back, trying to muster the same amount of sarcastic in his voice. He laughed, leaning up and revealing his rock band tee of the Beatles loose.
"I try." He said back, looking at me with dazed eyes. I continued to eat the cereal, trying to ignore his smile and eyes.
"What?" I asked after a moment, my mouth a bit full. He shook his head, crossing his arms over as he leaned back against the isle.
"Nothing, just you're kind of cute right now."
I nearly choked while swallowing, raising an eyebrow to him. Cute?
"I'm not 'cute'." I put air quotes on the word cute, shaking my head as I pushed the bowl forward to him, a smile still resting on his attractive face-
What?
I just called his face attractive.
"Well, well, well! I smell food." I turned around in my seat, only to meet eyes with the dark haired one, Zayn. He wagged his eyebrows towards me, walking into the kitchen and stealing a captain crunch. He made a disgusted face, probably because he regretted eating that, before sitting down next to me.
"Hey there red head." He said, his golden eyes reflecting off of his dark hair.
"Hi." I said with no emotion, getting off of the stool and going over to the couch. It's not like I hated that guy, he did stand up for me, but I hated when people made comments on my hair.
