Part 2

The next day came and Joshie was up, making himself some cereal. He was excited that it was the first day of summer vacation, especially because it was the first summer vacation to spend it with his new brother, Rocky. However, today was going to be a chill and relax day, which Joshie understood why. Joshie and Rocky's parents wanted to have some relaxation and to just rest for a little bit. Rocky then entered the kitchen with a yawn.

Rocky: morning Joshie

Joshie: morning Rocky

Rocky: do you know what we're doing today?

Joshie: mom and dad told me that it was going to be a relaxation day

Rocky: oh, that's ok I guess. Ooo we can go to the park, just you and me?

Joshie: I'll have to ask our parents but sure, that sounds like a good idea

Rocky smiled as he started finding something to eat for breakfast. Once breakfast was over, Joshie came over to his mother and asked if he and Rocky could go to the park and play. She said yes but to be careful and to not be gone long. Joshie thanked her and ran back into the kitchen to tell Rocky that they could go to the park. He was happy with the answer. he managed to finish his breakfast and hopped down from his chair to go grab some stuff.

Rocky: ok and I'm ready for the park. How about you buddy?

Joshie: I'm ready too, I'm bringing my PAW Patrol Chase plush with me

Rocky: oooooo nice! He's so cool

Joshie: thanks. I'm starting a paw patrol plush collection

Rocky: can't go wrong with that *laughed*

J&R Mother: make sure to stay out of trouble you two

Rocky: we promise to stay out of any trouble

Joshie: we love you mom

J&R Mother: I love you boys too

She kissed them both on their foreheads and they went on their way to the park. Once they got there, Joshie took out a tennis ball for Rocky.

Rocky: *gasps* tennis ball!

Joshie: go get the tennis ball

Joshie then thew it as Rocky ran after it. He picked it up with his mouth and brought it back to Joshie. After a few more throws, Rocky and Joshie then went on to chasing each other, then sliding down on some slides, and then swinging on some swings. They then were finally getting tired as they sat down on the bench.

Rocky: *sighs* now this is a beautiful day. No clouds, just beautiful blue sky

Joshie: you said it. This is what everyday should look like

Rocky: right?

Joshie: I'm really happy about the plans that our parents made for the summer

Rocky: what kind of plans?

Joshie: well, they're going to take us to a water park one day

Rocky: w..wait? Did you say wa....w...water?

Joshie: yep, why? Is there anything wrong buddy?

Rocky: i..I'm not a big fan of w...water *shook in disgust* it's just so wet

Joshie: oh, I see

Rocky: I don't want to disappoint you about that, i..I'm really sorry

Joshie: no no no no, it's ok bud, I completely understand that you don't like getting wet or water in general. No issues at all
