Brothers!

Part 12

Today was the last day of training for the boys in order for them to join the PAW Patrol, But It did make them really nervous about it. Once morning hit, Joshie and Rocky's parents took them to the lookout for the training day. Ryder and The Pups were outside waiting for them to arrive, with Zuma excited to see them again. He was going to make sure to help them become members, just like he said he would. Finally, they arrived and parked on the driveway.

Zuma: I'm so glad you guys came!

Joshie: yeah

Zuma: what's up man?

Joshie: just really nervous

Zuma: mm I undewstand, but not to wowwy dudes, I will help you guys

Rocky: thanks Zuma, we really appreciate that

Zuma smiled and took them to their last training mission. It was near by the town hall where mayor Goodway was at. She was holding a chickaletta plush for to find.

Mayor Goodway: oh you guys finally made it. I've got the plush for you guys to find. And when you do, you guys will join the PAW Patrol!

Zuma: thanks mayow Goodway. Alwight guys! Weady?

Rocky: i..I guess yeah

Joshie: oh boy, here goes nothing

Zuma made the two of them look away while Mayor Goodway hid the plush and she hid it very good. Once done, Rocky and Joshie were ready to go and find the plush. They searched all around to find the plush, but couldn't find it anywhere. Rocky was getting really nervous as Joshie came up to him and looked really upset. Rocky understood why and he knew that if they both wanted to join, they would have to search together. They checked over by a fountain, a little garden, over by a park. But nothing turned up. Until, the two of them saw that a bird had the plush. They ran over to Mayor Goodway and Zuma to tell them about the plush, and when they saw the bird, they gasped in shock. Mayor Goodway was about to call the PAW Patrol, but Rocky and Joshie volunteered to go get the plush from the bird.

Rocky: Come on Joshie!? Let's go stop that bird!

They started chasing after the bird as fast as possible, but the bird ended up letting go of the plush as it started to fall. The two of them tried to catch it, and it suddenly landed on Joshie, catching it on the process.

Mayor Goodway: you did it Joshie! I'm going to tell Ryder his new recruit is you

Joshie: *gasps* w..what? B....but Rocky?...........

Mayor Goodway: unfortunately, he isn't going to be able to join the team. But you will, you should be so happy!

Joshie: y..yeah, bu......but.............

Ryder: that is wonderful news mayor Goodway! Zuma, can you bring them back over to the Lookout? I got a surprise for Joshie

Zuma: uhhh *sighs* yes siw wydew

Joshie: b..but *sighs*

Joshie looked at Rocky, who was greatly disappointed and already had tears welling up in his eyes. Once they got back to the lookout,  Ryder and The Pups were congratulating Joshie for completing the training for the job, while Rocky was listening the entire time. He was feeling so upset that he had felt like his entire world was shattered into a million pieces. During the whole time when Joshie was being congratulated, he was in an upset mood. Which, everyone didn't know why. But when Joshie saw his brother walking around outside, he excused himself to go outside.

Ryder: welcome to the PAW Patrol Joshie

Joshie: t..thanks *sighs* can I be excused?

Ryder: oh, ummm sure
