It was next day for training. Zuma took the two of them to a tree, where a little kitten was stuck up in the tree. The two brothers gasped at the sight and felt terrible for the little kitty.
Zuma: who wants to save the kitten?
Rocky: I'll save the little one
Joshie: be careful Rocky
Rocky: *gulps* i..I can do this
Rocky used a ladder that Zuma brought for them as he started climbing up to the cat. He told himself it will be ok over and over again, but it was a little nervous. He wanted to be able to join the team, aswell as Joshie. He finally reached to the kitten and tried helping the little feline.
Rocky: here kitty kitty
The kitten didn't know what to do, the little one was scared.
Rocky: it's ok little kitten, I'm here to help you
The kitten still didn't move, it was frozen in fear. Rocky started to reach for the kitty, but then it jumped on Rocky's face and started clawing at him.
Rocky: AHHHHHH!!!!! GET THE KITTY OFF!!!!!!?!?
Joshie: OH NO!!!!!
The kitten finally stopped and started falling down. Joshie managed to catch the kitten just in time, but Rocky was still up on the ladder, all bruised from the claw marks. He started climbing back down. He felt really injured as Zuma grabbed some bandages for him, but after he was all bandaged up, Ryder came up to check up on them and their progress.
Zuma: Joshie hewe managed to get the kitten
Ryder: nice job Joshie!
Joshie: w..well it was Rocky who volunteered to help.................
Ryder: you'll be able to join us for sure Joshie
Zuma: yeah dude
Joshie: wait b..but.............
Zuma: come on bwos! Let's go celebwate!!
Joshie: ok *looks at Rocky*
Rocky looked upset at the fact that he was being left out once again. As his head slowly lowered down and started whimpering. Joshie felt horrible, he went over to his brother and tried to help him head back to the lookout for their parents to pick them up.
Rocky: i..it's no use *sighs* we'll never both join them
Joshie: yes we will, I promise. I've been trying to tell them that you are also doing a great job aswell, but they aren't listening
Rocky: let's just both volunteer the next time we get trained, ok?
Joshie: of course, sounds like a plan
Rocky: thanks Joshie. Can you please help me bud?
Joshie: sure
Joshie helped Rocky walk with to get to the lookout. When they arrived, they saw their parents greet them with a hug. They were shocked to see Rocky in bandages.
J&R Mother: are you ok Rocky?
Rocky: yeah, a cat just attacked me, but I'm fine
Zuma: yowe son Joshie is going to be a gweat asset to the PAW Patwol
J&R Mother: that is awesome to hear!
Joshie: but........what about Rocky?
J&R Mother: your right, what about Rocky here?
Rocky: I've been doing great right?
Zuma: unfortunately dude, you've been having youw bwothew help you. You have to complete a mission all by youwself bwo
