Zuma went inside the building, but wasn't sure if he would be able to get Rocky out of the building without being seen. He decided he would be a distraction, while Joshie would go in and get Rocky and save him. Zuma then came back outside to tell Joshie his plan.
Zuma: Joshie dude? I think you should save Wocky
Joshie: b..but what if I get caught?
Zuma: don't you wowwy dude, I've got youw back. Cause that's what best bwos do
Joshie: *sighs* ok, let's get my brother out of here
Zuma and Joshie went inside the building and saw not much of people in Humdingers lair. Zuma decided to keep an eye out for anyone who could hurt Joshie, while he tries getting Rocky. Joshie found a room that was like a lab. But what caught the young boys eyes was a cage that had Rocky in it. Joshie smiled to see that Rocky was ok, but he was facing the other way, with his head and ears lowered, and sniffling. Joshie felt bad for him as he approached Rocky's cage. Joshie knock on his cage to get his attention.
Rocky: go away *sniffs*
Joshie: your actually supposed to say "who's there?"
Rocky: *gasps* Joshie?
Joshie: Hey Rocky
Rocky: *smiled* Joshie! I'm so glad to see you! Your here to save me?
Joshie: of course bud, your my brother and best friend Rocky. And brothers always stick together, always
Rocky: *sniffs* a..always
Joshie took off his hat to find a key to open Rocky's cage up. As he finally did, Rocky jumped out of the cage and thanked Joshie. They had to get out of the building, before mayor Humdinger would catch them escaping. Luckily, the whole time Zuma didn't have to deal with anyone, as the three boys ran out of the lair. Once they got out, Rocky was relieved to be out. He was shocked to see Zuma.
Rocky: wait, Zuma?
Zuma: hey Wocky
Rocky: you both came to save me
Zuma: well, of couwse dude. You, me, and Joshie awe best fwiends and we all stick togethew, like a twio
Rocky: thanks Zuma, I appreciate it
Zuma: no pwoblem dude
Rocky: and you too Joshie, thank you for saving me buddy
Joshie: *sniffs* o...of course
Rocky: you ok pal? What's wrong?
Joshie: *hugs Rocky and started crying*
Rocky knew what was wrong with Joshie as he hugged him back, tightly. He also started to tear up.
Joshie: i...i..I can't loose my brother, y..y...your the bestest brother e...ever *sniffs, tears falling*
Rocky: *tears flowing* i...I know pal. You're not only the bestest brother ever, but you're also the bestest friend ever. I..if it wasn't for you, I would have never found the greatest thing I needed in my life
Joshie: *sniffs* w..what's that?
Rocky: my best friend
Joshie: *sniffs and started to smile* m..me too, i..I'm glad I found you Rocky
Rocky: *smiled with happy tears flowing* i..I'm glad I found you too buddy
They hugged once again, while the both of them had tears coming out of their eyes. They were happy to see each other again and to hug it out, like brothers should. Zuma wiped a few tears from his face, seeing the two of them be reunited, made him remember why he loved being a PAW patrol member. He ended up hugging the both of them as all three of them laughed when they broke the hug.
Zuma: what do you say dudes? We get out of hewe?
Rocky and Joshie: yes *giggled*
Mayor Humdinger: well well well look at what we have here
Rocky, Joshie, and Zuma: *gasps*
Butch: looks like we got a couple of morons helping Rocky escape so he can be free from your grasp
Mayor Humdinger: gee! THANKS CAPTAIN OBVIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Butch: your welcome boss
Mayor Humdinger: *face-palm* alright, time for you two to hand over Rocky
Joshie: NO!!!! IM NOT LETTING YOU TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!
Mayor Humdinger then ordered Butch and Ruben to grab both Joshie and Zuma as they struggled to get free from them.
Joshie: LET ME GO!!!!!!
Zuma: HELP!!!!!!!
Rocky: ZUMA!!!! JOSHIE!!!!! *growls* let them go you jerks!?
Mayor Humdinger: oh yeah!? What are you going to do about it mutt?
Rocky: i..I don't know but I will hurt you!
Mayor Humdinger, Butch, and Ruben: *laughed*
Mayor Humdinger: yeah right, a little dumb Mixed breed pup is going to stop me haaaa!!!
Rocky: *lowers head and ears*
They took both Zuma and Joshie away, as they drove off to somewhere else. Rocky watched as the van sped down the road and out of sight. This made the Mixed breed start crying again, he didn't know what to do, but he soon realized he could get help from the PAW Patrol. But before he could go, a vehicle stopped right in front of him. It was Ryder.
Ryder: Rocky! There you are!
Rocky: *sniffs* can you please h..help me Ryder? *chokes up*
Ryder: hey, hey there, it's gonna be ok. What can I help you with?
Rocky: i..it's Zuma and Joshie
Ryder: oh no, Mayor Humdinger?
Rocky slowly nodded his head as he began to cry again. Ryder picked up the sad gray pup and gave him a hug. Rocky was really worried that the sick Mayor Humdinger would hurt them, or worse. Ryder took Rocky back with him to the police station to file another kidnapping. Joshie and Rocky's parents were there as they waited for any news to come up about Rocky. But they soon then finally saw Ryder return with Rocky as they came out.
J&R Parents: ROCKY!!!!!!
Rocky: mom! Dad!
He ran over to them to give them a hug. But he immediately started crying again, as his parents tried soothing him.
J&R Mother: no no no no Rocky, don't cry, mommy's here
Rocky: j..Joshie was kidnapped *sobs*
J&R Father: oh no, Rocky don't you worry hun. We are going to get him back
Rocky: h..how? *sniffs* i..I just want him to be safe *tears flowing* I just want my brother back *sobs*
Ryder: we are going to make sure we can do everything we can to save your brother and Zuma
Rocky: *sniffs and wipes away tears* thank you, they are my best friends and I won't give up on them
Ryder: and neither will we
Rocky: I want to also ask, can I spend one more day, with Joshie. I just want to spend some time with my pal. Before I loose my brother *tears up a little* f..forever
Ryder: actually, I was thinking of making both of you guys new paw patrol members
Rocky: *gasps* really!? You really mean that!?
Ryder: of course Rocky, you two have a great big bond and I don't want to take that away from you guys
Rocky: *tail wags* oh thank you, thank you Ryder
Ryder: *giggled* you are welcome Rocky
Rocky: ok, let's go save my best friends
Ryder: you got it! Let's get a move on!
