After a few hours, Rocky got out of bed from a little nap. He got out of the bedroom and went to the kitchen as his mother was in the kitchen, cleaning up.
J&R Mother: hey Rocky, if your looking for you're brother, he's outside
Rocky: ok. Mom?
J&R Mother: yes honey?
Rocky: can we go to a toy store? I want to look for a Wolf plush
J&R Mother: oh sure sweetie, we can do that
Rocky: thanks mom, can Joshie come with?
J&R Mother: if he wants to, then yes
Rocky raced outside to find Joshie sitting down on a swing in a tent that was setup.
Rocky: hey Joshie? Can I ask you something?
Joshie: sure
Rocky: do you want to go to a toy store with me and mom?
Joshie: yeah, sounds like fun. What are you gonna get there?
Rocky: a new Wolf plush. I've lost my first one a few months ago when I was in the orphanage
Joshie: oohh I'm really sorry Rocky
Rocky: i..it's ok pal, I'm just happy to be able to find a new one and hey, we also can spend some more time together, like brothers
Joshie: of course, spending time with you Rocky is always great
They began getting ready to head back on out to the road again. Their Mother got onto a freeway and drove off to the toy store. While on the road, the two boys struck up a conversation about some things.
Rocky: hey, there's also some video games in the toy store aswell right buddy?
Joshie: I totally forgot about that
Rocky: how can you forget? *chuckled*
Joshie: I don't know how, but I guess I did, sorry
Rocky: don't be sorry bud, you just forgot and that's ok
Joshie: if there is a different mario game, I will definitely get it
Rocky: nice! What kind of toy are you getting pal?
Joshie: I'm not so sure but I'll see what I can get. I'm just really hoping you find your new Wolf plush
Rocky: yeah, me too. I miss my Wolf plush *sighs* alot
Joshie: it meant alot to you
Rocky: definitely. It was my original parents gift to me when I was a little pup. But after they disappeared, I had the plush to remember them by. The plush always kept me comfort when I felt alone *sniffs* b..but because of Ms. Rosie, she took the plush away from me, and that's when felt truly l...lonely *tears up*
Rocky felt like crying at the moment, but Joshie put his hand on his shoulder to help him and give him comfort.
Joshie: don't you worry Rocky, you aren't alone anymore. You have us now buddy and I'm glad your my brother now, brother. I promise that nothing will ever happen to make us separated, ever
Rocky: thank you buddy, that really means alot to me. I'm proud to be your brother and best friend too
Their mother smiled at their conversation. She knew adopting Rocky was the best idea and decision she and her husband ever made. Once they arrived at the toy store, the two of them ran inside as their mother told them to slow down. They were amazed by everything in the store. There was board games, video games, stuffed animals, and much more. Rocky and Joshie made their way to the stuffed animal section and saw alot, but the one plush that caught the mixed breeds eyes, was the new Wolf plush. He excitedly went over the plush and showed it to his mother and brother.
Rocky: this is the one! Yes! I found the plush that I was looking for
Joshie: nice Rocky! Now, let's go find a new mario video game
The video game section was the next row over. The two brothers eyes were filled with happiness as they stared at the section of games to choose from. Rocky ended finding mario kart wii, while Joshie got back with a fox plush.
Rocky: awww a fox plush, it's so cute!
Joshie: I know and I love him already! *hugs tightly*
J&R Mother: alright guys, ready?
Rocky and Joshie: yes!
After they paid for their stuff, they got into the car to go home. Once they got back home, both Joshie and Rocky went back into their room and to play the game. Before turning the TV to the Wii, a commercial was playing about the PAW Patrol.
Rocky: wait!? Joshie!?
Joshie: *gasps* hey look at the at, the PAW Patrol is holding an opportunity for someone to join the PAW Patrol!
Rocky: you thinking what I'm thinking pal?
Joshie: you know it!
Rocky: but wait a minute? What if they don't want us to join them? They wouldn't want to have a smelly mixed breed be in the PAW Patrol, like me *lowers head and ears*
Joshie: are you kidding? They would definitely want to have you bud, you're awesome!
Rocky: thanks buddy
Joshie: your welcome Rocky. Now, let's go ask mom
Rocky: wait, it says they are holding the announcement for tomorrow
Joshie: oh, I guess we'll go tomorrow
Rocky: yes! Sounds like a plan! I'm so excited!
Joshie: me too! *stomach growling* oh I'm hungry, I'll go ask mom about dinner
Rocky: ok, I'm hungry too. All this paw patrol stuff has gotten me hungry
The two of them laughed as Joshie left to go tell their mom about dinner. Before Rocky turned the TV to the wii to put in the game, he saw one thing on the announcement about choosing the next someone for the team.
Rocky: oh no. "The new recruits will also have to do some training for them to truly join the PAW Patrol, otherwise they won't "
Rocky gulped, making him feel now nervous about tomorrow. When Joshie got back into the bedroom, Rocky raced over to him to tell him about what he just read.
Joshie: oh fudge cakes! Well, we're going to make sure we show them what we got, right brother?
Rocky: but, what happens if one of us Is great at the job, and not the other?
Joshie: I'm not sure, we'll have to ask. I wouldn't worry too much, let's just have some fun with the new video game
Rocky: o..ok, i..i..I guess
Joshie: don't worry Rocky, everything's going to be ok buddy, you'll see
Rocky: *hugs* I love you brother
Joshie: i love you too brother
The broke the hug as the two boys smiled and got back to setting up their new video game.
