As we emerged out of hyperspace, we settled into a comfortable silence as we entered Coruscant's atmosphere. The city looking dazzling at night, with the lights from the tall buildings seemingly dancing in the moonlight. I gazed at it in awe, never growing tired of its views.

We docked in the same place as we had departed, and with no incoming transmissions, I let out a sigh of relief, knowing that we had completed our mission undetected.

That was, until, we stepped off the ship, staring straight into the eyes of a scowling Obi-Wan Kenobi.

"Anakin, what in the blazes were you thinking, running off of Coruscant without permission?" he exclaimed, disbelief written all over his face. "You may have thought no one noticed, but I sensed your emotions, a great pain, to which we will talk about later, but I thought I had..."

His voice trailed off as his eyes met mine, standing nervously behind a silent Anakin.

"Lorelei?" he inquired, surprise lacing his words. "Seeing you here is something that I did not expect."

"I'm sorry, Master," Anakin interjected dejectedly, and I silently thanked him for taking his master's attention off of me.

Master Kenobi crossed his arms. "Well, you'll have to explain yourself- well, I guess yourselves- to the Council, because Master Yoda has been on my back about you all day. Though I guess no one knew that Padawan Bache was in on this whole departure too, Master Secura probably thought you were safe and sound here at the Temple, so now the equation is more unfavorable!"

"I should not have asked her to come, I-" Anakin started, but I cut him off.

"You're not taking all of the blame," I argued. "I did tell you that you couldn't leave without me."

A perplexed look took over Master Kenobi's face. "This day just keeps getting weirder. Now, come on, you two, the Council is going to love to hear about this."

As we stood in front of the Council, my nerves were at an all time high. The faces of the Masters almost betrayed no emotions, though I could see the slight shock when I had entered. My eyes flitted over to Master Windu, who had a scorned look painted across his features.

"Padawan Skywalker, Padawan Bache," he began, a hint of bitterness lacing his words. "You embarked on a journey with no approval from the Council. We are all disappointed in you."

My heart sank at his words. My whole life, I wanted nothing more than to appease the Council, and though they intimidated me, I held them to the highest regard, but here I was, standing before them in a rather poor standing.

"Anything to say, do you have?" Master Yoda questioned, a calmness radiating off of him, a stark difference from that of Master Windu.

Anakin was no stranger to speaking to the Council. "With all due apologies, Masters, while I knew it was wrong to leave the Temple, something inside of me urged me to go. I could not shake it."

Master Yoda looked at him with curiosity. "Your mother, was it not?"

Anakin nodded. "I thought my nightmares were simply just nightmares. It turned out that they were premonitions."

"Felt your pain, I did, Young Skywalker," he said thoughtfully. "Though attachments, hard to break, they are. The premonitions, interesting. Seen this before, I have not."

"They still disobeyed orders to stay at the Temple," Master Windu interjected.

"Indeed, they did," Master Yoda accepted. "But this revelation, intrigued, I am. More interesting, that accompanied him, Padawan Bache did."
