Chapter 14: Connected Timelines

After two hours, again... Cole had finally enetered the new... wait a minute...

Cole looked around, and saw the same spawn area from the 'Shattered Paradise' world, strange... why would the portal bring him here?

Cole had no time to worry, he decided that it would be best to get a move on. He left the spawn area, knife in hand.

He was walking around, but eventually, he heard an ear piercing growl from afar.

C: "Sasha?! Is that you?!"

Cole ran through the halls, occasionally passing a few Gootrixians from time to time. The growl lead over to the flooded area, where he found the same lantern shork that attacked him, fighting with a panther.

Cole immediately left the room, cause he didnt wanna get involved in whatever was happening.

He eventually made his way to the cryastal caves, the same ones where he successfully claimed victory over that panther. As he was walking, he saw a mysterious glow.

The glowing looked super familiar, it was similar to the one from the portals. He decided to follow it, and eventually, it lead him exactly to what he expected.

Another portal.

C: "What? Another portal?"

Cole was confused, not only was there four open portals in the testing grounds, but theres also a random portal, sitting in the testing grounds.

Since he wasnt having any luck with this dimension, he decided to jump through the portal, hoping to find Sasha on the other side.

Timeline: Paradise Ends

Cole arrived at the other dimension, and saw the same spawn area from that 'Paradise Ends' world, but, something was... off...

Abble wasnt at the shop anymore, and the pink barriers were gone, not to mention, there was a huge decreas in Gootrixians.

Cole looked ant the tv screen, and saw this.

GOOTRIXIANS: 21

C: "More humans?"

Cole was confused, why were there more humans all of the sudden? Only to hear gunshots from a distance.

Cole rushed over to the gunshots, eventally making it yo one of the comtainment chambers, but when he opened it up, it wasnt what he was expecting.

Dead bodies...

Everywhere...

Not to mention, they werent human bodies... they were Gootrixian bodies... Cole was horrified, and let out a silent scream before backing up a bit.

He continued to back up, only yo trip on something behind him, he turmed his head, only to see a portal on the ground.

Before he had time to question it, he fell straight into the portal.
