Sunday, 8:AM
It was morning, and Sasha was already up, making some pancakes for Cole and herself. Once she was done, she went to the bedroom, where Cole was still asleep.
Sasha went up to Cole, and started shaking him, just enough to wake him, "Good morning sleepy head..." She said. Coles eyes slowly opened, and then he let out a huge yawn.
"Morning already...?" Cole asked, "Time flies by when youre sleeping, doesent it?" Sadha teased. Cole sat up, rubbing his eyes, Sasha grabbed his hand, "Cmon, Cole, I made us some pancakes."
Sasha basically dragged the tired boy to the table, where there was a stack of pancakes waiting for them both. Cole and Sasha both sat down, and Sasha started gobbling down her pancakes.
Cole however, just sat there, poking at his pancakes with his fork. It didnt take long for Sasha to notice that something was up with Cole.
"Alright Cole, whats going on?" Sasha asked. Cole looked up at Sasha, "Oh, nothing..." He responded. "Cmon! It takes one stack of untouched pancakes for me to know somethings wrong." Sasha said.
Cole let out a long sigh, looks like he cant hide the truth anymore. "Youve heard about that Dimension thingy, right?" Cole asked, Sasha nodded.
"Its that dimension I visited thats bothering me..." Cole said, with his head lowering. "How Lanimax was destroyed, how all of the exits were destroyed..." Cole was describing every last detail of that place at that point.
"And now im starting to think about how the other dimensions will be..."
Sadha didnt say a word, she just let Cole continue with what hes saying.
"Seing how bad that place was, I think the other dimensions will be just as bad..." Cole continued, shaking a little bit.
It was at that point where Sasha decided to talk.
"Oh, come on Cole! Im sure not all of the dimensions are bad." Sasha said, placing a hand on Coles shoulder. "Well, maybe, but they want me to visit ALL of the dimensions." Cole added.
"Maybe just act nice...?" Sasha suggested, "I did nothing and those guys still attacked me back there..." Cole responded.
Just then, there was a knock on the door, "I'll get it." Sasha said. When Sasha opened the door, it was Joe. "Hey Sasha, is Cole awake?" He asked. "Oh, hes right in here." Sasha said, letting Joe into the apartment.
"Hey, Cole!" Joe shouted, Cole just responded with a depressing "Hey..."
"So, hows your shoulder doing?" He asked, Cole lifted his sleeve, only to see a bandage covering up a deep slash in his shoulder. "Not well at all..." Cole responded.
"Well, uh... we need you back down in the testing grounds today." Joe said, "Again?!" Cole shouted.
"Yes, unfortunately youll be exploring another dimension at around 5 today..." Joe responded, suddenly, a announcement came onto the speakers.
"REASERCHER JOE, PLEASE REPORT TO THE CONTAINMENT CHAMBERS."
"Well, guess I have to go, I'll see you soon, Cole." Joe said, and then left the apartment.
