The Charming Duke

Lord Richard William Carey, Duke of Bedford Territory is the great-great-great-grandson of Lord Patrick William Howard through the matrilineal line of his granddaughter, Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard who married Lord William John Carey in 2208.

Lord Richard William Carey is the grandson of Lord George Frederick William Carey and Lady Henrietta Ann Bourbon who married in 2228 and through their son, Lord Robert Frederick Carey who married Lady Lettice Essex Knolly in 2248 and in 2250, Lord Richard William Carey was born followed by his sister, Lady Philadelphia Essex Carey in 2256.

Lady Sophia Charlotte Howard was the only daughter of Lord Frederick William Carey and Lady Jeanette Virginia Beaufort and only granddaughter of Lord Patrick William Howard and Lady Margaret Penelope Devereux.

Lord Richard William Carey and his sister were born and raised on Rigel Seven up until 2260, when Rigel Seven had a similar crisis like the one of Talos IV.

When Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR heard about the crisis, he reminded his first cousin, Lord George Carey about what took place on Talos IV and he didn't want it to happen to his first cousin once removed or twice removed, and Lord George wrote to his son and asked him to place his grandchildren on the next Starship to Star-Base 12.

Lord George reminded his son that his son was also his heir to the Dukedom of Bedford Territory, and Lord Robert and Lady Lettice reluctantly agreed to place their two children on the USS Astral Queen and it transported Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Philadelphia Essex to Star-Base 12, where Lord George and Lord Charles Andrew JR met Lord Richard William Carey who was ten years old and Lady Philadelphia Essex down to Star-Base 12.

Lady Henrietta Ann Bourbon and Lady Georgina Henrietta Carey took care of Lord Richard William Carey and Lady Philadelphia Essex.

Lord Richard William Carey met his third cousin, Lord Thomas William Howard who is the great-grandson of Lord Andrew Charles Howard and Lady Elizabeth Percy at the Parochial school on Star Base 12, where he also met his first cousin twice removed, Lord Frederick William Howard III.

Also attending the same Parochial School was Lord Andrew Charles Howard and his first cousin, Lord Richard Edward Howard II. Their father's were brothers.

Lord Richard William Carey knew how important family were and he loved all of his many cousins who were descendants of Lord Patrick William Howard and from his son, Lord Frederick William Howard who had three sons and one daughter and likewise his second son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard Senior had three sons and one daughter as his son, Lord Charles Andrew Howard JR who had three sons and three daughters.

One of Lord Patrick William Howard's ancestors had been married twice and with two wives he had 21 children and many survived and had children.

Lord Richard William Carey was nothing like his first cousin twice removed, Lord Andrew Charles Howard, but their common ancestor was Lord Patrick William Howard who traveled to Star Base 12 in 2153 with 16 other families and one was Lord John Carey, Lord Edmund Beaufort, Lord John Churchill, Lord Richard Devereux, and so many other families that were fleeing from Pre-World War III Planet Earth from Europe.

The families that travel with Lord Patrick William Howard were The Beaufort's, The Bourbons, The Carey's, The Churchill's ,The Cravens, The Collins, The Devereux, The Grey's, The Habsburg, The Hastings, The Knolly's, The Seymour's, The Stafford's, The Stuarts, and The Valois.

They were some of the most prominent families in England when Lord Patrick William Howard and his brother-in-law, Lord Richard Devereux went door to door and asked them to come with them on April 29, 2153.
