Five Year Before

Five years before the arrival of the second settlers on Star-Base 12, on February of 2148, about 300 young American couples boarded the USS Yorktown in San Francisco, California to flea Pre-World War Planet Earth as none of the young couples approved of the onset of World War Three and how men were being used for the purpose and it sparks demonstrations with the Pro-War and Anti-War demonstrators.

Among them was Mr. Philip Williams and his wife, Phyllis Williams who were in their 20's at the time and both had very good professions and lived a comfortable life in San Francisco, California.

There is nothing wrong being a pacifist if it is for the right and moral reasons and it was well documented that the soldiers were given narcotics for their addiction.

None of the anti-war demonstrators approved of giving these soldiers drugs to keep them in the service.

Mr. Philip Williams and his wife, Phyllis with 298 other young American couples boarded the USS Yorktown to escape the onset of World War Three that began in 2126 with the use of narcotics.

The demonstrations were just getting more heated between Pro-War demonstrators and those who were anti-War and they saw it would do no good as World War I and World II didn't along with The Korean, Vietnam War, and all the Wars that were waged throughout the ages for various reasons.

Fed-up with the politics in The United States, the 300 young couples boarded The USS Yorktown under the command of Captain Joel Randolph headed for Star Base 10 and 12.

The journey would take the first settlers four and half years to reach their destination and on February 1, 2153, three months before that fateful May 1, 2153, they landed on Star Base 12 to begin their new lives and from Star Base 12 they heard the news that World War Three had broken out and that one day headed for either Star-Base 10 or 12, on board the USS Excalibur about 400 European families had escaped the horrors of World War Three.

The United Federation of Planets and Star-Fleet Command told the first settlers that the second settlers wouldn't arrive on either Star-Base 10 or 12 until April 30, 2159 but nothing would change as The United Federation of Planets would still be the law on Star-Base 10 and 12.

At the time the first settlers that arrived on Star Base 12, the provincial government was the United Federation of Planets and Star-Base 12 had an elected governor, but that would change in 2165.

These 300 American couples weren't unemphatic and understanding for what their European counterparts have gone through as they had gone through it themselves and with that in mind, they prepared to open up their hearts and homes to the weary new settlers that would arrive on April 30, 2159.

Like the 300 Americans that settled on Star Base 12 on February 1, 2153, they had to give up everything that they owned and they were prepared to help anyway when their European counterparts.

So, All The American families await for the arrival of The USS Excalibur to orbit around Star-Base 12.
