Chapter Fifteen

Third Person's Pov,

After one week,

Things didn't change between them it was same like before. As per Zain's words he now maintains distance with Adaa. He come home late at night when she's sleeping and then next morning he went to work before she wakes.

Not for once Adaa saw his face in past one week. He don't come in front of her not even let her feel his presence. He was keeping himself busy with his works, presentations and files. Zain wasn't being himself anymore, he too was avoiding her.

His parents were also back at home. They also noticed that something was amiss between them but they didn't ask anything. This was between them so it's better for them not to interfere in their matter and they should solve it by themselves.

"Adaa, Where is Zain?" Zeeniya asked her in the dining table when they were having dinner. She noticed how her face fell.

Suddenly she felt some void.

"Mom, he.." She wasn't find words what she should say. Because she also don't know.

"He is in office." Irtaza replied.

"Why he is still in office so late?" Zeeniya asked worried.

"He got a new project. So he's busy in the upcoming project and meetings." He said.

"This boy! Why don't you say something to him? This way he will also affect his health." Zeeniya said concerned.

"You know, how he is? He's very stubborn and strict when it comes to work."

"It's all your fault! You have made my son workaholic like you."

As usual parents are parents. No matter how much their children have grown up, parents will always worry about their health and happiness.

But they didn't notice there was someone else too who also got worried about him and it was Adaa.

"Is he doing overwork because of me? I hope he's not pressurizing himself because of me." She thought.

"Adaa," Her chain of thoughts break when Irtaza call her.

"Yes dad."

"Did Zain talked to you about your job?" He asked and she nodded.

"Then why don't you join his company? He's very much stressed now days because of work. And he has also fired his secretary because of his carelessness towards his job. I'm sure you could help him if you take some responsibility of his works." He suggested and she wonders.

"How can I work with him? It's impossible after whatever happened between us." She thought.

"Dad, I don't think so. I have no work experience. And as you said right now, he's very much strict he may not be satisfied with my work." She said and pray in her mind that he should drop the idea of hiring her as his secretary.

"I don't know what's wrong with him. He's firing every employees even if they did a single small mistake. I'm afraid this way there will not be single employee left in our office. Every day he's firing somebody and all are very much scared right now because of his anger issues." He worried.

"I don't know whose traits he has received." He said eyeing Zeeniya who raised her eyebrows.

"Why are you talking round and round? Talk to me directly, okay. He hasn't gone after me. I'm a very calm and patience person."
