Willow finished up at Prema watching the F2 feature race with her old team. She had gone by Alpine on her way to the pit lane but every member of the Alpine team she saw swore that the Australian wasn't in the paddock yet.
"Hi, hi." The familiar voice of Logan Sargeant caught Willow's attention as she was walking down the pit lane.
"Logan." Willow exclaimed before hugging her fellow American.
"How's the world of a formula one driver?" Logan asked with a smile on his face.
"Ugh. It's alright." Willow replied sarcastically causing Logan to laugh.
"Come on Willow. You're living the dream. Pole position in just your second qualifying. You belong in F1." The Florida born driver spoke.
"People come and go through the F3 and F2 grids. Amazing talent slip through the cracks every year. How did I get so lucky?" Willow wondered as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Because you are talented. And Red Bull saw that. Bitch." Logan whispered the last part causing Willow to laugh and shove him.
"Shut up. Your time will come. Williams is a great team and they're gonna see the talent you have. Just you wait sunshine." Willow told him.
"I see what you did there. That was good." Logan commented as he pointed at Willow and laughed.
"I'm here all day folks." Willow smiled in reply. "I better get going. I'll see you later."
"Okay. Good luck." Logan waved after his fellow American as she headed towards the paddock to get ready for the own race.

Willow's race ended unfortunately not exactly how she wanted it to after starting from pole position.
She and the team had failed to predict the safety car that arose a lap after she had pitted for fresh tyres while Carlos, Charles and Max all capitalised on it.
That left Willow playing catch up on the positions she lost after pitting and she could never manage to close the gap.
She was disappointed to say the least especially since she didn't have Oscar to rant to considering the fact he was ignoring her.
Now Willow was getting changed in her drivers room and getting ready to leave to go to the hotel to get some sleep before her flight to Australia tomorrow.
Due to the risk of jet lag, the teams were flying down under early to allow the drivers to get over the time difference and sleep off the jet lag before race week.
Willow was leaving the Red Bull motorhome and it was now nearly 12am after the race not finishing til 10 and after post race interviews and debriefs.
The American was completely exhausted and as hungry as she was at present, the thought of her bed was calling her name.
As she walked towards the swipe gates, she spotted the one person who had managed to avoid her all weekend since they arrived in Jeddah.
"Piastri." Willow yelled out and watched Oscar cringe at the sound of her voice knowing her had been caught and couldn't escape. "I've caught you. You can't keep ignoring me."
