I knocked on the door, only to be surprised by it creaking open. I pushed it open slowly, peeking my head in. Wow, that was easy.

A strong musty smell filled my nostrils, making my eyes water. I looked around and saw a big mound on a bed, moving up and down steadily.

Porky. Based on the consistent snoring I heard, he must be in deep sleep.

Maybe he was too exhausted and forgot to lock his door as a result. Oh well, it was good for me, since I finally got to see his face.

I walked in, calling him in a low whisper, afraid that if I called him any louder, he would freak out on me. All those times I had screamed at my uncle to wake up had taught me against doing so, especially since Uncle was trained to always be on his guard.

Porky didn't wake up. The musty stench filled my nose even more. Ack. I could almost taste it. That's gross.

I dashed over to where the windows were, flinging them open. It helped a bit but it seemed like it was going to take a while for the room to air out.

Just how long had he kept his room shut for it to reek this bad?

I turned my head towards Porky's direction. Something flashed in the corner of my eye, so I looked for the source. A screen was left turned on in the corner of the room, music blared from the headphones that were still plugged in. It sounded like a familiar tune. I walked closer, curious to see what he had been doing.

My eyes widened, my heart beating faster in excitement. Oh. My. Gosh...

It's Call 2 War! He has Call 2 War on console! That was so much better than PC!

My eyes darted between the screen and the sleeping Porky. Wake him up or play one round?

I checked the time on my phone. I guess I have some time, maybe enough for two rounds.

"Porky..." I whispered again, this time gingerly poking him with one finger. "I'm gonna play Call 2 War on your console. Is that okay?"

There was no answer.

I took it upon myself to assume that silence meant yes. Then, I plopped myself on the chair in front of the screen, placing the headphones onto my head before reaching out for the controller.

I logged into my account and dove into the game.

In the middle of the game, I started cursing and swearing out loud, totally forgetting where I was. I had gotten myself comfortable, one foot on the seat with my hand resting on my knee. I was sneaking around in the game, totally focused, when I felt something prod my side.

I shrieked in surprise and jumped out of the seat, pulling the headphones with me. The headphone jack came unplugged. The music from the game blared from the screen. I looked towards the source of the prodding.

It was Porky, clad in a stained t-shirt and boxer shorts, holding out a ruler in my direction. He was awake.

I scowled at him. A ruler, really?

His hand was trembling. "You... You... What are you d-doing here?"

A loud gunshot sounded suddenly, making us both jump. I looked towards the screen and saw that my character had died in that short amount of time.

I cursed again. "Ah, dang it. I lost because of you. I was so close to winning..."

Porky repeated his question again, still holding the ruler towards me like a weapon.

I swivelled around to face him. "To see you, Porky. Duh. Do you know how hard it is for me to see your face and have a conversation like this?"

"I don't want to talk," he said. "And my name's not Porky! Get out!"
