"This is a bad idea."

"What do you mean?"

Y/N follows Harry, Hermione, and Ron to Hogsmeade. She's hesitant to be going with them on such an excursion.

She gives Ron a look. "Honestly, do you seriously not follow? Padfoot is risking way too much."

Hermione nods. "That's true, but don't you want to see him?"

"Of course I want to see him, he's the reason my parents have their memories back. But that doesn't change the fact that he's a fugitive. Getting this close to Hogwarts is just reckless."

Harry looks back to her. "It's not like the dementors are still searching the grounds."

She pushes. "And that's because he escaped from here, with our help. Either way, he's risking being recaptured and undoing all our work from that night last year. And if he's seen with us, we're all in trouble for obstructing justice."

"Then why are you coming?" Ron questions.

"Because you guys are doing it no matter what I say, so there's not point in staying back at Hogwarts."

"Okay. So enough with the pessimistic chatter, let's just go." Harry points out.

As much as Y/N cares about Harry and wants him to keep up a relationship with Sirius, she also knows that the both of them have let their emotions cloud their judgement. Sirius should be staying where he's been hiding.

The three of them find Sirius, in Animagus form, in Hogsmeade.

Harry kneels over the the black dog, holding a copy of the paper. "It's good to see you, Padfoot."

Sirius continues to lead them into the woods and they heads higher into the mountains. The hike is an hour and a half just to be far enough away from the general public. It's unlikely for them to be seen, but it's nevertheless a risk.

The five of the sit in the woods, looking at the Daily Prophet. Buckbeak's frolicking around.

"They're making it sound like he's dying." Harry points out.

Ron looks to Sirius. "My brother's Crouch's assistant, he says Crouch is ill from overworking."

Y/N hakes her head. "That's ridiculous. You guys saw him at the second task, the man looked like he was suffering from the plague."

"I suppose that's what he gets for sacking Winky. Bet he's regretting it now that she's not there to take care of him." Hermione remarks.

"Again with the house-elves." Harry rolls his eyes.

Ron looks to Sirius. "Hermione's obsessed with the house-elves.
