It's halfway through January now and things have changed since the beginning. For one, classes are back up and running and all the younger students are back at Hogwarts. Besides that, Y/N's slightly made up with Harry and Ron. They came to a nonverbal decision that they just have to agree to disagree. The three aren't fully friends the way they were, but they aren't avoiding each other any more. Y/N hasn't spoken with Fred since her birthday and it's probably best that way for the both of them. There's no way it won't end in another fight. As for Draco, she's unsure. She's not sure where she stands with him because they haven't spoken about it. For now, they're just going with the motions. At the same time, war has broken out when it comes to Pansy. The two aren't speaking directly to each other and the Slytherin girl does anything to get Draco's attention.

Y/N sits down with Hermione in the hall, commonly used for studying by students. It's a giant room that connects two floors with an imperial staircase and balcony on one of the walls on the room that come down into the hall. She's looking through the Legilimency book once more as Hermione's studying Charms. Harry and Ron were sitting with them earlier, but are now quizzing each other on Potions on the other side of the hall. They started doing it beside the two girls, but Hermione barked at them for being annoying and distracting. There are many other students in the hall at this point because fifth years are preparing early for their O.W.L. exams and seventh years are preparing for their N.E.W.T. exams.

Draco, Pansy, and Blaise are also in the hall. They don't seem to really be working on anything to do with school work. It's more like they're just talking and almost goofing around.

After reading for a while, Y/N puts her book down and looks over. "Hermione, can I talk to you about something?"

The girl puts down her textbook. "Sure, what is it?"

"Well.. Do you remember when you suggested that I read up on Legilimency?"

She nods. "Yeah, of course I do."

Y/N closes her book and pushes it over to her. "Well, I've been doing just that."

"And what do you think?"

"Well I think that there's something there. Here, read this part." She says, opening the book to the Predisposition section and hands it to her.

Hermione takes a minute to read the short part of the books.

When she finishes reading it, she nods and looks up to her. "Well it does sound like how you described what happened with Fred that day."

Y/N responds. "So what do you think I should do?'

"Well there are really only three options that you could go with. You could A, do nothing. You could B, talk to a professor, or you could C, try to make it happen again."

"Make it happen again?"

Hermione nods. "Yeah, you know. Try to cause the "sign" to happen again to see if it was truly what the what this book describes."
