"CHAN Hyung, where are we going?" Jisung asked in a loud, impatient tone. Hyunjin nodded his head and took a glance out the window of their car.

"Yeah, Hyung, where are we going?"

Chan continued to furrow his eyebrows and stare ahead, at the road mostly. But he intended to hide the tears in his eyes and not show how worried he was to his friends.

"We will be there soon, guys, don't worry."

Hyunjin shook his leg up and down anxiously, his gaze still at the scenery outside the tinted glass.

The car soon stopped in front of a huge glass building, allowing the three members to see through the window and take a closer look at the exterior of the building.

It was a huge, ten-floor building with a glass exterior and a sliding door that was opened to allow patients inside. Above the door was a huge, white sign with a few words on the front.

White Mountain hospital center.

"C-Chan, why are we here?"

One of them squeaked out in a tiny, worried voice. Chan didn't answer him, however, because he was too focused on the exterior of the place.

"Let's just go, please,"

After parking the car and getting inside the hospital, Chan stopped the four members and headed off to a secretary, who sent him a sympathetic smile and answered his inaudible question with delight.

After a few seconds of chatting with the woman behind the counter, he motioned for the members to follow him inside the building, to which they did with no hesitation.

Hyunjin glanced at the halls and the different rooms in distress, his mind going back and forth with terrible ideas.

Chan then stopped in front of a certain wooden door that was only inches open after a nurse entered and left a few moments before. He inhaled and hurried towards the door, reaching out to grab its handle and push it open.

The five took their turns to look inside the room, which was a simple white-colored room with a hospital bed in the center, a small wooden drawer beside it, and another door leading to the bathroom. Their eyes soon fell onto the person lying motionlessly on the bed, and Hyunjin could hear his heart shattering in a distance.

Despite the wires and the oxygen mask covering her face, he could still recognize the pale face of his wife, her long hair messily laying beside her on the soft, white pillow.

"J-Jagiya?"

His voice came out a soft, trembling squeak. He allowed tears to well up in his brown, mono-lid eyes as he hurried to the bed, reaching for his wife's hand which was also covered in wires and bandages.

"Jagiya..."

Tears streamed down his face, and he let them. He would usually try to stop crying in front of his group members, especially if there was someone else with them, like Wooyoung.

But this time was different.

Very different.

"W-What the hell happened?"

Chan sighed heavily, walking towards him. Putting a hand on his firm, clothed shoulder, he glanced down at his younger friend, only to see him looking up at him as well.

"She..." he began, "she was stabbed, Hyunjin. She's really hurt."

The words caused Hyunjin to break down into violent sobs of heartbreak. He wrapped his arms around his head and threw them at the bed beside his wife, this time not afraid to sob his heart out.

"W-Who did this, Hyung?" Changbin asked, shedding a few tears as well. The others nodded their heads and stared at the floor.

Chan quickly wiped away a tear to hide his heartbreak as well,

"They don't know,"

But eventually found that his tears kept streaming down his face. Jisung ran towards his older friend to give him a reassuring hug, allowing a few sobs to escape his mouth.

"They don't know..."

For a moment, all the five members could hear were the sound of their sobs and soft weeps.

"Is she going to be o-okay, Hyung?" Wooyoung asked, wiping away a small tear.

Chan bit his bottom lip, glancing at Hyunjin in hesitation. The uncomfortable pause made Hyunjin look up with tears in his eyes, his lower lip trembling.

"Hyung, why aren't you answering?"

The older boy sighed heavily, then slid his feet across the porcelain floor to sit beside his friend. Reaching out to hold his hand, he glanced at his other friends and shifted his sight to the floor.

"Hyunjin, the doctors said that she might not make it," he replied truthfully, followed by a small sob escaping his mouth, "they said that- that they don't know if she will be okay or not..."

It took a few moments for Hyunjin to absorb the words.

And when he did, his heart shattered loudly in his ears.

He glanced at the heartbeat monitor beside him, which had red lines curving up and down to show that she was still alive. The worst thought in the entire universe popped up in his mind, and he tried to shake his head desperately to make it go away.

No. That was not going to happen.

It better not.

Those red lines better not let him down.
