The reason I don't party
Valentino arrived exactly at 7:00, which was great but I wasn't ready. I took another 30 minutes to do my makeup because finding the perfect outfit took longer than I expected. I walked outside to the parking lot that was outside my dorm. I didn't know what car he drove but luckily for me, he was outside leaning against a shiny BMW scrolling on his phone.
"Hey, sorry I took so long," I said interrupting his silence, he looked up from his phone and eyed me up and down, which made me uncomfortable because I felt overdressed. Usually, I don't mind being extra and wearing clothes that don't fit the occasion, but tonight was different.
"It's fine, I don't mind," he went back to looking at his phone. I took that as a hint that I looked fine.
He placed his phone in his pocket before he walked over to the passenger side and opened the door for me. "Ladies first,"
I trod carefully in my heels as I walked over, and immediately I was hit with a whiff of his cologne.
"Thank you," I said as I got in. I was nervous and I Dalia Jones do not get nervous. His car was clean, extremely clean, he didn't strike as that type but then again he drove a pretty pricey car. He got in, "Are you ready?" I nodded, "So exactly how many people are going to be there?"
"Just a few grad students, not sure Chris was the man behind the idea." He looked in my direction, "But don't worry you'll be fine."
"I'm not worried Valentino, I just want to know what I'm getting myself into." I rolled my eyes, he turned the radio on and began driving, for the rest of the ride we drove in silence.

We pulled into a driveway of a luxury house, the driveway wasn't packed and had only a handful of cars parked, all were luxury cars. Who exactly was he friends with?
Val walked to open my door, "Wow are you, friends, with politician kids?"
"Maybe"
We walked up to the front door, the door swung open, and behind the door stood a pretty blonde who was only wearing a skimpy hot pink bikini. "Val baby you're here" she pulled him into a hug pushing her fake boobs on him.
"How did you know we were outside?" he pulled from her and embraced, before the blonde could answer, Chris walked behind her and grabbed her by the waist, "She didn't, we were just leaving." he placed a slobby kiss on her cheek. Christopher turned to me, "Oh hey, Dalia right?"
I nodded, "Glad you could make it."
"Where are you guys going, we just got here?" Val questioned the couple who was displaying a great deal of PDA like we weren't standing right there.
"We're going to grab some food and we may or may not make a quick pit stop." The innuendo was loud and clear.
"Dude please don't do that around the food," Val jokingly replied
"No promises," Chris grabbed the blonde and walked to the Porsche
We entered the house and made a right through the foyer, there was a burst of rambunctious laughter coming from the room. The room was dimly lit and packed with several couples, I was guessing this was the family room or game room judging from the large pool table in the center. I recognized a few faces, Ji Hoon, Nigel, and of course Faith.
