He leaves you with his friends

"Dalia right?" Nigel said as he sat in Valentino's seat. What did he want?

"Val said he had an emergency and had to go, he also said he paid for lunch."

"What kind of emergency he had?" I bet he left with that Faith girl, she had already made my list. Stealing someone else man, how low can you get. But then again I barely knew the guy and he wasn't mine, to begin with.

"I don't know he wouldn't say," he waved the waiter over and asked to clean up Valentino's leftovers. I took my phone out and text Valentino giving him a piece of mind and telling him that we didn't even finish because we still had a lot to cover.

I took a sip of my coffee and nearly choked because of Nigel's question, "So why the fake boyfriend?"

I coughed a couple of times before replying, "Sorry what?"

"Why the fake boyfriend, why are you hiring Val to be your fake boyfriend? I mean you have to look and the brains, you basically get any guy you want, so why the fake one?" He was picking at a roll, just like Valentino.

I am going to kill Valentino when I see him again, "Because why not." I grabbed my things ready to go when Nigel grabbed my wrist.

"Are you leaving?"

"No, I'm getting up because my legs fell asleep. Can you please not touch me, I don't know you like that." He released my hand and apologize. I walked away, I need to get back to campus anyways, I have a tutoring session and need to prep.

It didn't take too long before I realize Nigel was following me, okay what was his deal, he was giving off very creepy vibes.

"Why are you following me, don't you have a friend in there that you came with?"I asked searching for my keys. "She left with Val?"

I stopped searching, I knew it, that bastard.

"She was his so call emergency?"

He nods, "So, do you want to meet the rest of the guys?"

"Uhmm no"

"If you're going to be his girlfriend, you need to meet his friends." he placed his hands in his pocket. From the moment I met Nigel my perspective of him changed drastically. I thought about it for a while. I mean I could use the social interaction, and I'm not really in the mood to teach chemistry.

"Okay, I'll stay"

We walked into the restaurant and to a table where three guys sat, chattering amongst themselves. I am convinced that everyone in this friend group is attractive. On the right sat tall ginger, the way the sunlight came through the window made his hair look like it was on fire. He had pale skin and he had a very passive-aggressive feel about him. A particularly notable feature is his faint freckles and two deep dimples on his cheeks. He has stubble that he forgot to shave this morning. He has a rectangular face, a straight nose, full lips, and his friendly brown eyes are almond-shaped. He wears elaborate clothes that are mostly light-colored and slightly too large.

On the left was a fair-skinned man that has an attractive feel about him, not just because of his face but the way he carried himself. I had a feeling that was Valentino's cousin. A particularly notable feature is his long lashes and his flirty light brown eyes. His hair was as black as the purest of velvety nights. He has an oval face, a straight round nose, and full lips. He wears perfectly pressed clothes.

And the one in the middle looked the tallest among the three, sunkissed tan skin a short, a smooth mustache that is a shade redder than his hair, which was styled in a buzzcut. He has a square face with a button nose, bow-shaped lips, and phoenix-shaped eyes. He had terrible fashion sense and wear paint-stained clothes but nonetheless, he was handsome.
