Max hasn't always been a anti-social
person. She used to be a outgoing person.
But that Max, faded last summer.
Max couldn't stand being at home.
There was constant arguing,and that's
not even the worst part.Max had no one
to run to.
She had recently moved from California
and ever since everything went down hill.
Skateboarding away from the house as Neil
had his rampage at her mother Susan had been her only escape.
And heaven knows her step brother
Billy could care less to protect her.
Currently max is out skateboarding
at the skate park because Neil is having
his day to day rampage.
It's not even safe at her home anymore.
she wishes from time to time that her mom and dad didn't separate, she wouldn't be stuck in this shitty situation.And to make matters worse school starts monday.
after awhile she got tired and sat on the curb and pulled out her phone from her oversized hoodie pocket.It reads, Sunday October 1st
3:47 am. It's not surprise Max had stayed out longer. She gets up from the curb, and places her skateboard down on the pavement.
Max's skateboard is the last thing she
has left from her father, so she takes
care of that skateboard. She places her
earphones in her right ear only just
to play it safe.
She plays the first song in her playlist,
New person, same old mistakes by tame
impala. The smooth tunes flow out her
earphones like a river. The only noise you
could hear was the crickets in the woods she
would occasionally pass by.

After 30 minutes max had made it to the
front of her home. There was no loud music blaring out of the house,there was so arguing between her parents. The house was
completely Silent. It scared her a bit.
Max reluctantly walked towards the
house. She slowly opened the door
to see a passed out Neil and tons
Of beers placed on the table.
The tv was playing some old fashion show
Max couldn't place right at the moment.
She quickly ran to her room being sure
to lock the door behind her just in case Neil
woke up for round 2.
She slid off her black converse shoes
and lays on her bed facing the celling.
She let out a sigh and grabbed her phone.
She plugged it up near her nightstand.
She placed the covers on herself
and closed her eyes. She thought
about what could happen tomorrow
before she drifted off into a deep slumber.
